So I originally wrote a much harsher review, but I got a chance to compare these with 800 thread count cotton sheets from costco and yep, these feel similar. Maybe not quite as silky, but I believe these are what they claim to be. They're thick and strong and are comfortable. On doing further research, high thread count cotton sheets just aren't quite as soft as you might think. It's a specific texture that caught me off guard, but that's my problem. Love these sheets, however not the price tag attached to them. They are nice and thick so hopefully my husband will not wear holes in the sheets anytime soon. I don't care if they are wrinkly when coming out of the wash, that does not affect how they are used or how they feel.

I used to be able to get sheets these good at Costco 10 yrs ago but not anymore; all sheets I’ve bought on AMZN for the past 10 years (all different brands and in the $80-100 range - I'm not rich) pale in comparison to these. Not thin but not too thick or heavy. Top sheet has a very nice ‘crispness’ that I love. I purchased another set in Dark Grey but have not inspected them to see if they are the same quality as the Hotel White which I would recommend. These were some of my favorite sheets I have bought. Not your standard cheap polyester sheets. These were just soft enough for comfortability for me, but what I really loved about them was that they kept me cool at night. It was unfortunate though, I didn't have them long before my boyfriend tore a hole in the fitted sheet. They still lasted me over 6 months from the initial tear before the hole became too big to continue using. I still like using the pillow cases. Only con is it is a bit pricey. ... show more

These sheets are nice quality. I normally pay around this price point or higher. I used to buy Fieldcrest sheets from Target. About $90 for a set. They are no longer available. This set is nice bright white cotton. They feel thick and of good quality. There are not quite as soft as I had hoped and don't really look like 800 thread count. (I'm sorry but I no longer trust their list price versus the sale price) They were well worth the price we got tho. They fit our bed so perfectly (we do not have a pillow top so I can't speak to how they'd fit one of those). They stay on nice and snug.
