Description

Dragy uses high speed GPS satellites to accurately measure your vehicles performance within 1/10th of a second, producing identical results to the much more expensive and cumbersome VBOX system, in a less expensive and easier to use package. The Dragy software automatically charts slope on all timeslips which you can then post to forums or social media, share with friends, or even upload to the Dragy leader board. The Dragy box is extremely compact at 1" x 3" and can be set on the dash when testing and throw in the glove box or center console when not in use.

  • Very accurate ET.
Model: DRG69
Highly recommended for the drag racing enthusiast. If you want to test your car without spending money at the track this is the product for you. This gadget is completely accurate To the ETs that you would get at the race track.

  • Expensive unit for its capabilities.
Model: DRG69
It works well for what it is. But For the price, i wish it had more capabilities, and maybe more features that it could be used for circuit track racing data.

  • Love It!
Model: DRG69
Took it to the drag strip and it is within a few hundredths of their time. MPH will be different because of the way it's timed at the strip, unit is more accurate. App is intuitive and useful, tricky to turn off, fast double stroke to left needs perfect timing, its only fault.

  • There is room to improve
Model: DRG69
"PROS" Accurate "CONS" 1) Biggest problem battery. Not even close to advertised 10h. maybe 2, max 3hour when connected. And more importantly, if you dont use device for some period you need to recharche it regularly, as it has big discharche even when not connected. In two weeks or so it goes from 100% to yellow. And if you allow deep discharge, you might have problem to recharge it again, like many reviewers noted here. I recharge it every 3-4max weeks to avoid battery malfunction. 2) Battery indicator in aplication is nonpractical. It has 3 stages. green, yellow, red. IS it difficult to display charge in 0-100%? 3) Aplication can be better. Some features look like from 20 years ago. Also it is quite strange, that $159 device comes whith app thats dispayes ads at every start. 4) Plastic body feels cheap, especially for $159 device. hmm.. Also Needs rubber bottom for grip (magnetic is good option, but it is just extra option, in 90% situations usless, as you can't find metalic parts in modern cars close to windshielf/dashboard) Despite so many cons, still 4 stars. ... show more

  • Great device with limited support and limited documentation
Model: DRG69
I really wanted to give this device 5 stars but a couple of things prevented that. The bad: - First unit would not charge after battery drained so I returned it to Amazon and bought a replacement unit. I spent an extra 11 bucks for the Square Deal 3 year extended GPS warranty in light of that. Quality at this time is unknown but with the 3 year extended warranty, I’m not worried about it. -The magnets are not strong enough to prevent it from sliding on a smooth metal surface such as the provided adhesive metal mounting plates, or when placed on a metal speaker grill. Not a big deal as easy to get around this small issue. Perhaps just using a grippy plastic on the bottom of the unit instead of the slick label would solve this oversight. - Large bright LED on the device can be obnoxious flashing on the dash at night. A small piece of black electrical tape solves that issue. - Minimal documentation. There is a small folded paper in the box which is a poor excuse for a manual. It basically just lists its features. Their website is not any better. The app also lacks meaningful directions. You have to guess how to use it. However, most of it is easy to figure out. I’ve been unable to figure out how to switch between the two cars in my garage. All the runs are recorded under the first car I entered. I also have no idea what the nonfunctional temperature gauge is for on the display. (Update: Dragy replied to my question and you cannot select the vehicle. You select the run then pick "Share". From there you pick the car that the run was for. It would be much better if the app kept track of which run was for which car. This is not a big deal if you only track 1 car. If you have more than 1 car that are close in performance, it can get messing figuring out which run is for which car unless you keep separate notes. The app should be updated to record each run under the car you pick in your garage. Simple programming which hopefully we'll see in an update. - Limited support. There is no email, phone, web form for support. In the iPhone app Under the "Settings" menu there is a "Feedback" option. I sent feedback through the app and got a reply back to my question, The good: -The new unit performs great. - It is small, sleek and accurate for the price. - It’s super easy to use. - Extremely easy and fast to connect to iPhone. - Has cool video overlay feature. I deducted 1 star for the first unit being defective and for the above listed minor design issues. Come on guys, spend and an hour to write a short manual and post it on your website! ... show more
