Budget Friendly Manual Fuel/oil Transfer Pump This is what I consider a medium to light duty oil drum transfer pump. The pump body is metal construction (however very light metal) the pipe tubing is also metal (however very thin gauge), the piping is a threaded connection and they give you Teflon tape to help with liquid draw and to help prevent leaks. The tubing sections are just over 13 inches long which should get you to the bottom of most any 55 gallon drum with length to spare. It does come with threaded barrel bung with a pinch bolt to adjust the length and depth. The pump portion has a normal length handle, the rotation is smooth, installation is very simple and operation is straight forward. I have used MUCH higher commercial quality cast iron body pumps- this is not that... I intend on using for light occasional use, I'm sure it will work perfectly and at an economical price.

round and round it goes...up and up it flows yeah so it's a rotary pump...and NOT a 'good one' missing parts - terrible instructions - images bad too was there enough here to 'figure it out' - yes and I suspect any who is mechanically inclined could too it's not like assembling a rocket - but I believe instructions should match what you get price - yeah this is where this 'shines' - what it lacks in quality it makes up for in budget and any who has priced GOOD ones of these quickly decides they really don't need a rotary pump...but this one came along at a great price - so get it with that being known - it's budget item at an excellent price and it functions as expected but without all the things you were expecting - and the quality to show for the price...threads and machining quality all poor - but nothing of mine cross threaded (thank goodness because these are whisper thin tubes and even thinner at the threads)

A little assembly but super intuitive and easy to put together. I used it for water from a 55 gallon barrels at job sites and it works perfect for that. Very quick transfer. Comes with the tape and all. Great value !

This seems like a decent pump for homeowner or light-duty use. It does what you’d expect for transferring fuel or oil from a drum without needing anything overly complicated. The all-aluminum construction is a plus and gives it a better feel than cheaper plastic-heavy pumps. It seems reasonably well made and straightforward to set up and operate. I’d look at this more as a light-duty transfer pump than something for heavy commercial use, but for occasional use around a shop or property it seems to fit that role well. Overall, a practical pump for basic needs.

If you need a barrel pump, this one works relatively well. The straw is all aluminum and screws together, use the ncluded Teflon tape at the joints to better keep the suction. The pump housing, spout, and hand crank are also aluminum. The rotory pump is self priming and while it is intended for fuel or oil, I tested it using water and it worked well enough, it did not stay primed with water but it only takes a few cranks for it to prime again. The barrel attachment fit 2"npt on a standard blue 55 gallon barrel, it is vented/not sealed so you won't be able to leave this pump in place for volatile liquids.

Missing parts according to the package photo (part #6 one-way valve - critical part) and some parts came deformed and squeaky. Does not even name all the parts. Instructions is a bit confusing. Item is of overall good value but with missing critical part this item will be returned.

Works very well. Looks kinda cheap but it functions very well. It does what it is supposed to. I use it on a rain water barrel to fill my watering cans. Makes it so much easier for me.

Works well, easy to assemble, but don’t think it will last long. I don’t think the pipes could be made any thinner without being able to see through them. As such, probably not the best value, but the pump does perform well.
