Unfortunately the item description is misleading. It creatly says 5oz but upon arrival I weighted the bar and it was 4.2oz. I'd be ok with a 10% margin of error but weighting 4.2oz is unacceptable given the premium price for the bar.

So, here’s the scoop. The smells are fantastic! Pine Tar is definitely my favorite. A note about soap conservation: it is extremely important that you A) cut your bar into 4 squares with dental floss and B) invest in a draining soap dish. If you let your soap sit in water, it will deteriorate quickly. I used an Old Taylor of Bond Street shave cream container. I drilled five holes in the bottom and every time I unscrew the lid to grab my soap, the inside is dry and the soap isn’t gooey. Cutting the bar into four squares helps the bar last longer because it isn’t degrading one large piece. The smaller pieces are more manageable. I’ve found that I can get 7-10 days worth of cleaning out of each of the smaller pieces versus one large piece which would last me about 1.5 weeks. Really though, BUY SOME OF THIS!!! Sometimes paying a premium price for a great product is worth every penny, and once you learn how to conserve the product it becomes an even greater value. Squatch is that kind of product!

Saw ads for this all over Instagram, so I decided to try it. I’ve had the soap for about a week, and it’s pretty much used up. Doesn’t smell that great, doesn’t get very thick soapy when applied. I mean it’s soap, it’s a bar of soap. It’s nothing special. But it’s certainly not great. Very thin, and it get used up quick. Waste of money. Won’t buy it again.

The last few months of my relationship have been a little rough, but thanks to Dr. Squatch I was able to spice things up and get everything back on track. When you have been together for a few years, things start to get a little bland and I had read on the internet in multiple places that the fault was on my spouse. Ignoring all that information I decided I needed to make small changes to try to make her more interested in me. I started by changing from Boxer Briefs to Tighty Whities, that did not go well. I changed the part in my hair, only a small comment. Changing my toothpaste worked to get me a few extra kisses, but that was not the holy grail I was looking for. As a man I am not supposed to admit that I crave the occasional cuddle and that was what I had been missing for the past few months. I realized that I had to do something drastic and so I searched the internet for the best product money could buy, a 1500 dollar bottle of perfume. Surely a scent that expensive has to be effective. I was about to hit the buy button when in the corner of my browser something caught my eye. An item endorsed by a Doctor of Cryptozoological proportions. I knew right then and there that if a Sasquatch could get his P.h.D then this had to be the soap for me. And boy was it ever. Now with the lovely scent of Bay Rum emanating from my body my wife never seems to want to stop the cuddles. We both think it is the best smelling soap I have ever bought and it makes my rough skin feel smooth. Thank you Dr. Squatch for making this soap and saving my marriage. I fully recommend this product to any man, women, person or cryptozoological creature that feels the need to add a little spice to their life. TLDR - I wanted more cuddles, Dr. Squatch provided the answer better than any other body wash I have used before.

This smells what I would think, I would smell like if I was the king of Pirates in the Caribbean sea, while fighting off a kraken. We would be entangled in the most fierce of all battles in the seven seas. At last I make a simple mistake, it is able to get its tentacles on me, and just as it's about to devour me whole it would stop and say, "oh wow you smell like a REAL MAN, at last I can not eat you for it would be a true crime to not allow others to smell the alluring scent of crushed cloves, cinnamon sticks, crisp pine, and zesty orange and your skin so soft, oh so soft and silky, is that Shea butter?" I wink and nod yes. As it swam away it would stop one last time, wave and bid me safe travels. I will be buying another one in the future.

Pine Tar. It doesn’t have the pine scent that I was expecting, which was more like a Christmas pine scent. This smells like a dirty bucket of Pine-sol after mopping the floor. Luckily the scent doesn’t last after showering. I do like the oatmeal, sand, sea salt, and clay that is added to the bar...the harshness reminds me not to purchase these soaps again. Bay Rum. I can’t even describe the scent...because there isn’t any. Maybe a hint of spice? I really wanted this one to live up to its name, but it fell severely short, and that’s unfortunate. They should have named it O’doul’s. Cedar Citrus. Another let down. You can barely detect any scent off the bar. Smells more like a bar of unscented soap. I gave two stars because I liked the commercial. The GOOD-Soap lathers well, and if you cut your bars in half to use, they’ll last longer.

This is for the pine tar soap - Excellent product, smells great, fianceé loves it, nice texture, really exfoliates the skin. The only complaint (hence the 3 out of 5 stars): One bar only lasts about 4 or 5 showers. Too expensive for such short duration. Once you use it you don't want to use anything else so it's hard to keep it as a 'special occasion' soap. It spoils you. EDIT: The pics show the bar after only 4 showers. YMMV
