These boots are very very good quality, they’re probably the only wedge boots in the world that could hold up to me wearing them while hiking several miles a day on rocky paths, riverbanks, and across the US desert southwest. From city sidewalks to steep, dirt slopes, these boots held up incredibly well, only after many, many miles did the soles even crack at the spot where the flat meets the heel; even then, they were still not only wearable, but sturdy and durable enough to get me out of the path of an oncoming wildfire which is the ultimate reason I must replace them. I've gone thru several pairs of these for work, since I always wear pants. For a shoe that provides a 3+ heel, these are very comfortable. I don't stand at work, but I do a bit of walking and I could walk in these all day long. They look pretty good with pants, but I wouldn't wear a dress/skirt with them. My biggest complaint is that the heel and toe get damaged easily (hence the several pairs). I've glued the fibers from the faux stacked heel back down and even used a sharpie on the toe when the faux leather wears away. ... show more

I ordered theses shoes on July 5th and noticed today, August 11th, that they are peeling already. I have worn them at most twice a week since purchasing them and willing be returning for a new pair. Hopefully this was a random issue.

I usually wear a 9. After reading the reviews I went with a 9 1/2. I probably could have stayed with the 9 . When I walk my heel comes out a little bit. Besides that I love these shoes. I have gotten many compliments on them. I work 9 to 10 hour shifts and can tolerate wearing these all those hours without pain or blisters. ... show more

Either my right foot got bigger or I needed to go a half size up. Ordered 7 wide should’ve ordered 7 1/2. Left foot is fine right foot tight.
