    • Works good when Velcro holds
My main complaint is that the Velcro doesn’t hold if I bend over too much. There is plenty of room for more Velcro so why do they have to cheapen it up by skimping on the only thing that makes the device work good? . It took a while to get used to wearing long hours, but now I can wear it all day when I’m operating equipment that causes me to look downward and slouch most of the time. Just wearing it is a reminder to straighten up and push shoulders back (yes, you can slouch even with this on). The support is as advertised including the many varieties of adjustments. I do find the brace to be uncomfortable and because of the hefty construction of the support, the brace is obvious under most garments.

This is my favorite brace because it provides full back support, both lumbar and upper back. I got it for a problem with a mid upper back that required protection, and this brace supports it well. It is comfortable, I wear it for over 12 hrs at a time, while walking and having active day. I usually re-position it once a day or not at all. It came with an instruction to start for shorter periods of time so I did it for couple of days, but got adjusted to it within a week. ... show more

It's about as comfy as a support/adjuster could be. It stays in place better than most. The shoulder straps have to be tightened a significant amount in order to effectively get your shoulders pulled back. But even with that it's not tight and doesn't limit movement too much. This works very well. After using it I bought one for my husband also. We're both over 60 and we were starting to bend over in our posture. We use it when we're on the computer. It's not easy to get into but works very well. We're both pleased with the result. We are straighter and look younger.

OK, first off it does what it claims and is priced competitively. That's enough alone to warrant the purchase. Follow the directions though. When I put it on the first time I did it incorrectly and thought it was not for me, but I sat down and read the instructions. Tried again and it worked the way everyone else said it would. I sometimes sit or stand in the same position for 3-5 hours a day as I play several instruments. My posture is fairly poor due to a lifetime of sitting at computer desks. I have been having back pain and have been seeing a chiropractor, but my covered visits are very limited. I tried this thing out and when I use it I find I do not have the same back pain after a few days. I still do yoga now and then, but I find my extreme schedule far more tolerable now from simply putting this thing on. It provides just enough support to keep me going. ... show more
