    • I just love me some Doc's.......I'm 40 and I still have a pair from 7th grade.
I have a pair from 7th grade that I wore 3 years then gave to my buddy who worked construction for 3 years in them and gave them back and said"I just can't wear them out" then he bought his own. As an adult mid twenties punker I found them in the closet and began wearing them again for a few years and still they have held up. They have camp fire burns, spots where the top has chipped off the black and shows grey underneath and I still have them in the shed in case some kid with a size 10-11 needs some cool boots. In a way though, that would be like giving someone a medal for a gift........they really didn't earn all that cool looking wear........they just wear in great. There is a strip of leather inside the boot above my toe that is very uncomfortable. I had to place a strip of mole skin across the strip for comfort . The rest of the boot is awesome.

I just got them but love them so far, wore them yesterday and made sure to put alot of mink oil. I have problems with my ancles so I lace them all the way up and love them. Don't waste your time on cheap ones, they aren't the real deal.
