This is my second time ordering these boots. I wasn't sure what size to get and the first time I ordered my regular size (US) 8 but because these are considered unisex I guess they run big. This time I ordered a 7 and they are perfect. They were hard to get on initially but I think as they stretch a bit over time it will get easier. The trick that worked for me was standing up to put them on and kind of wedging my foot in while pulling on the back tab.

Me gustaron. Tienen muy buena calidad, los materiales son muy buenos. Bastante botinas, mas de lo que se nota en las fotos. Estan firmes en la suela y los tejidos y como dije antes el materias, ya sea plastico o cuero, no sé, es de calidad. Sin embargo las note muy apretadas... Normalmente compro nuemeros más grandes por la orma, busco que sean anchas y para meter el pie ha sido una faena... ya puestas quedan muy justas al punto de apretar y doler un tanto, en la punta del piel, los dedos quedan comodos, pero en el tobillo y empeine muy apretadas. Si alguien sabe como se aflojan, por favor compartan. Espero que con el tiempo se aflojen más y se pongan mas comodas en esos detalles... Creo que debe de haber varias tecnicas para aflojarlas.

I've been wearing Docs since they were all made in England and Nirvana was a new band... Yes, the quality of Dr Martens has gotten... varied. Some products have been poorly constructed, some used inferior materials; but some products are actually about the same quality as before they restructured the company and moved all of the production overseas. All that being said, these are a great casual boot. The leather is probably 0.5-1.0mm thinner than vintage boots but that's still thicker than some of the offerings out there. The waxed finish on the leather is doing some awesome things to the creasing and marring. As soon as you put these on... you will really that you are TRYING to put them on. They are stiff out of the box. An their shape and construction don't lend themselves to getting your foot in. It's a narrow ankle on them but the elastic portion of the shaft is incredibly durable. You can wrench the boot open and slip your foot in. You will immediately notice that the waxed finish gives this a pull-up look on the leather. These brown ones get some gorgeous streaks of orange from underneath the grain. My picture doesn't do it justice. The cut and style is the same as it has been since the 90s or 00s, whenever the Chelsea was first introduced. They look amazing with dark or light jeans and with casual slacks that aren't khaki in color (personal preference). Wearing these around the house and out in town gets them broken in in a matter of days. As such, they are much easier to put on and take off than when you get them. I would suggest using DM's cleaning solutions and creams for these. The waxed leather behaves differently than a regular smooth grain 1460. These have become my go-to "shoe by the door" and I have often found myself wearing them all day. The AirWear Bouncing Sole design has really maintained its quality.

I ordered these in a size 7 and Long story short what I recieved was a size 8 in the size 7 box. I am still waiting on the actual size 7 to see if these shoes are workable. I really liked them, just didnt fit in the size 8. Now i know to check the shoes when you recieve them instead of trusting the box.
