Yes, this is a wet mascara over dry clumpy ones. But all you have to do is blow dry your lashes on cool air for less then a minute and your ready to go. I have always blow dried mascara on my lashes but this brand is a must to help it set fast.

Hauschka is my preferred mascara. Never irritating, never flaky, easy to remove with eye makeup remover. The blue is my usual color (I have gray eyes), but the black is good too. I wish they hadn't discontinued the green-gold, that was the best in its class, also.

I have used Dr Hauschka regular mascara for quite a few years without any problems and loved it. I used to purchase from Whole Foods. Since the pandemic, I've been purchasing on Amazon but the only options offered are Volume and Defining so I'm assuming they don't make the regular any longer. Well, I tried both the Volume and Defining and both resulted in me looking like I've been on a 5-day bender. Swollen, red, burning eyes with mild congestion. I stopped using this brand altogether and although it's been slow going, my eyes are feeling better and I'm looking healthier again. I'm rating 2 stars for great consistency and color. This is a great mascara for those with thick lashes since it has a very thin brush to apply. It works fine with mine which aren't thick, but next time I would order a different style brush.
