Cab-over camper... Bed is a queen. There is limited space between the bed and the roof. NO ONE makes a mattress that's thin enough to fit. We've tried air beds, breathable foam, lounging cushions... NOPE! To hot in summer, too cold in winter! So Dr. Futon to the rescue. Great insulator, very comfortable and it looks GORGEOUS! Would I do it again? I would if I needed this same treatment in ANY vehicle I use for camping. AND??? BONUS!!!! It's easy to get out of the camper and throw it on the living room floor for those uninvited little crumb-munchers! This Dr. Futon mattress is a win-win... no matter how you look it it! ... show more

So we have a camper/toy hauler - with the pre installed beds that are like sleeping on rocks. Needed something I could use that would be comfortable and easy to store. Been down the blowup bed route - camper no electric, battery dies, goes down while sleeping, storage ugh - found this and hoped it would work. Well it did on two trips and used at our place in the mountains on an old bed - AMAZING!! It’s perfect! I plan on getting one to keep for guest at the mountain home! Kids loved it too! Before I explain the reason I had to return it. Let me first say I what I loved about it. The design and futon/mattress cover is just lovely as it is in the picture. My air mattress broke and this was going to be my new best thing until I used it. First, once you open it from a very well shipped box, you can start to see how it starts to fluff pretty nicely. Everything arrived in good conditions and nothing was missing. I slept on it twice in a carpet area room but it was hard to sleep because I could still feel the floor when I turned on my side. So 4" deep is not thick enough. Woke up with pain in my back and muscles. I'm 5'3" and petite. To out away the next day: rolling it was easy. Putting it inside the bag it comes with was easy. Zipping up the bag was a challenge at times because the zipper would break easily. Still, I managed to close it. Carrying it to my SUV was ok... it is a full sized mattress/futon. I did have to lower my 2nd seat row so it could fit. Now I'm back on the hunt for a good non-airbed solution. Perhaps one with depth and back support. 🤔 ... show more

**UPDATE** The bag to hold this mattress is a waste to even make. You should have made the bag like a sleep bag holder. The zippers are terrible and it doesnt take long for them to come apart. Rethink the bag. I live in an apartment and instead of buying a sofa bed I went this way so I can tuck it in a closet when I am no longer using it. t. My kid loves it. Allows him and a sleepover buddy to enjoy the soft space and sleep in the living room. No issues so far but will keep you posted. Looks to be a quality item. Crossing my fingers. ... show more
