I ordered this item because I had lost my other braces in a move. These were not nearly as good as the ones I lost that I bought from Walmart. The ones from Walmart were much more sturdy and roomier and had a lot more effect on my sore wrist and thumbs. this one is smaller and doesn’t go up at the thumb as far as it needs to or the wrist. I have fairly small hands and my thumbs are pretty short like my daddy’s. So this should’ve fit but it didn’t. It’s not the products fault it’s my hands fault I guess. It may be fine for others.

I have been having arthritis pain in my thumb joint on both hands. I purchased one for my right hand first to see if it helps. My right hand did feel better wearing it. I have been using it on my left hand, even though it is a right handed brace. I still have been having pain. I keep thinking I should order the left brace too. I feel like it does give good support and I can adjust the tightness easily. I do feel like it is a bit bulky, especially will all the Velcro around the thumb. I wish it was a little slimmer so I could work in it easier.

This brace works great, but I have to line it with a cotton glove or wrap because it makes my skin break out and itch like crazy. For that reason, it is very uncomfortable for me. If you are one of those like me that is allergic to adhesive tape and most bandaids, then you might have the same issue. But, it really does work great otherwise.

The brace is lightweight, easy to put on and remove. I know that in time the Velcro will eventually wear out, but it makes for ease of putting on and removing the brace. If you have basal joint arthritis and want to avoid surgery for a long as possible, then this is an excellent and non-pricey option.

Fits either hand; well made; hand washable; It WORKS!!!! So good I have ordered 3👍 1 for each of my hands & a third for my Hairdresser who also has arthritis in hands. I even sleep in one or both if I am hurting at bedtime. Am typing on my phone right now & use it with computer. Is not restrictive🌹

It's a bit bulky, but wow what a difference it's made. WAY less pain now. Edited to add: If it seems to not be helping much, adjust and re-adjust as needed. I was lucky to find the right amount of tightness on my first try, but since then I've had to futz with it a bit to get it right. I know I've gotten it right when I'm not feeling pain - or very little pain. Just amazed at how well this is working for me! Went from daily, sometimes debilitating torture to actually having a functional hand again. Wow. Update: Very surprised to find that this has helped with my 'trigger finger' as well. Couldn't see how it could possibly have any effect on that, and yet now it's a whole lot better. Only reason this isn't a five-star review is that I don't think anyone really takes those seriously. I sure don't. Definitely deserves it though.

Easy to put on, not so easy to adjust the strap around the thumb to achieve the objective...straighten the thumb and allow for its eventual flexibility. I've worn the brace for several weeks and have had little effect on the objective. My ortho-surgeon recommended I use rubber hand exercise products, which will strengthen the muscles.
