Not sure if it is an allergic reaction or what, but this turned the area under my eyes bright red and it seemed to be a little swelled up. I followed the instructions on the bottle and after 3 days, I looked like a lobster. Unfortunate as this was not cheap and other reviews claim it works.

There are a few Dr. Dennis Gross products that I use all the time and make sure I always have them and never run out. And those are the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta extra strength daily peels, and the Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Grade Liquid Resurfacing Peel. They are must haves for me! So I was excited to give this Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin C Lactic Firm & Bright Eye Treatment a try. I have been using this for 3 weeks now, and I haven’t really seen any results yet. But that’s pretty normal since skincare does take a while to show visible results. Bit so far I don’t have any real complaints. It does make my undereyes look more bright and slightly dewy, and it leaves them feeling decently hydrated. I do use an overnight undereye mask though because I tend to get dry undereye skin. And this isn’t especially moisturizing on its own in my opinion. But so far it’s been working well into my current skincare routine.

I have been using this product for about three weeks. If I had not taken pictures, I don't think I would be very impressed, however, I did and I can definitely see a difference. Nothing life changing but definitely softer wrinkles and brighter under eyes. I have been using it pretty consistently twice a day, morning and night. A half a pump is more than enough for my entire eyes and a little extra to dab on my 11s (between my eyebrows). The photo shown is top to bottom, week one, two and three. The lighting is slightly different in each but even so, I can see enough of a change that its worth the price tag to me. The lines all around my eyes when I smile seem much less pronounced and my skin around my eyes looks brighter. I will definitely continue to use it. Its been about 3 weeks and I am almost halfway through the bottle so I think 6-7 weeks for the price is reasonable. I have been trying various eye creams for a while and this cream has provided the most noticeable change so far. I was worried that retinol product would be too much/too strong around my delicate and sensitive eye area, but I have had zero irritation AT ALL. I do try to give my eyes a break from this product for one day a week and use very hydrating products but I really don't think its necessary. Worth noting, I use this around my eyes as my final step before moisturizer. I use a half pump and tap it all around my eyes until I feel its well absorbed. I then wait a few minutes and use a hydrating eye cream on top. Overall, this is definitely worth trying and I plan to continue to order this to see even better results. Might actually start trying it on my forehead lines next!!
