This compression sleeve is constructed of strong thick knitted material which provides a lot of compression. It's comfortable for most activities, but does bunch up on the inside of the elbow when bent close to 90°. It's comfortable for most activities, but not so much if your lifting hand weights or doing activities where you'll have full range of elbow flex frequently. I have another sleeve constructed of thinner polyester (similar to base layer clothing) which fits close to the skin without bunching, but it also does not provide nearly as much compression. Both have their place though, depending on whether you want more compression of this sleeve or would favor more uninhibited range of motion of a thinner sleeve with less compression. ... show more

I needed to try a brace after injuring my elbow. I found that this brace was helpful but somewhat tight and I could not wear it for too long. The silicone pad was also helpful when worn on the body side of the elbow. The review is made tricky by only medium size being offered to Vine members - it is pretty tight on my and most men will need a large - body builders should go larger. Well made with a nice solid cushion to place over the sore area of the elbow. I did have a little separation on the hand facing end - perhaps caused by the sizing issue - it is not effecting performance. Also includes velcro strap for reinforcement if needed. ... show more

This is a good compression elbow brace. It comes with a built in gel pad as well as a velcro strap for addition an additional/targeted amount of pressure as needed. The velcro is STRONG so it can be a bit difficult to adjust as it take quite a bit of effort to open it if you don't have it adjusted right. It can also stick to the bace itself. I measured on the edge of medium and large. I got the medium and it's definitely good compression. I'm not sure if it's too tight, but definitely snug. I have tried various compression elbow sleeves and most seem to do a good job when sized correctly. This elbow brace is very comfortable and has good compression. The added gel pad provides added support directly at the elbow joint that most that I have tried have not had. It also provides an additional strap that can be added if you need extra compression. The materials include 51% Nylon, 9 % Spandex, 22% Rubber and 18 % gel. It is designed to be hand washed in cold water and naturally dried. The fabric is also breathable. It also comes with a little handbook that explains how to use all this and general information to assist with elbow care and some exercises. I have been having trouble with my Tennis Elbow (from golfing). I was looking for a sleeve to support the tendon. I came across this one and it’s pretty good. I received it in the morning and played golf in the afternoon. Even though my elbow still hurts it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. It supports the tendon and feels snug. The material is good and I’m an average size guy, but make sure you order a large if you’re anywhere near 5. 7 and 185lbs. It is snug so a medium would be way too tight. Hand washable and quick dry.
