We needed this for our BBQ to attach to our house propane. It works wonderfully and is so easy to install. Just make sure you shut off all the propane gas in the house before installing. We forgot to turn off the gas water heater and had to restart it.

Hose and quick-connect ends are what I needed to connect my tri-fuel generator to the house natural gas line for power outtages. Like a few others have reported, I did NOT receive the 3/8 Female to 1/2 Male Adapter... but I did not need it for my application. What I DID need however was a male to male adapter to connect the female quick connect end. Amazon suggested a Brass Pipe Fitting, Hex Nipple 1/2" x 1/2" NPT Male Pipe as an item frequently bought together. Well... this was not the part needed to fit to the flared female end of the hose. What you really need is a 1/2" Flare x 1/2 Inch NPT Male Brass Couples Tube Fitting. Neither was expensive, but would have been nice to get it right the first time as an amateur.
