Took about 15-20 minutes to take a scrap piece of wood, measure 1 1/2" drill the plate into the scrap wood, attach the wheels then mount the scrap piece to the work bench. I used an air shim to get the piece lined up. Overall super simple. Tools provided. I used deck screws even though wood screws are provided. Overall excellent and worth the price.

I used 6 on Delta table saw and it makes so much easier to move around. It takes a little more room to swing it around as the wheels need to swivel, but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty sweet.

The casters themselves are of good quality and work well. However, the pack of mounting screws included should go immediately into the trash. The screws are a bit too big and easy bind in the caster bracket. When that happens, the screws instantly strip and you have to back them out with channellocks.

I use these to remove my water tank from my enclosed trailer. It’s heavy enough to make it irritating to remove. I bought these because the wheels are removable and will be out of the way when going around the trailer. They are pretty study and quality is not bad at all.

They does exactly what they claim to do. My router table weighs a ton, well less than 600 lbs any way, and is impossible to move around. Enter workbench step down casters. I can move it now with one finger. Installation isn't hard at all. I did have difficulty marking the holes because the painted bracket was sliding all over the place making it neigh on impossible to mark the hole locations. So I added a small piece of PSA sandpaper to give it more bite and then I just used that one bracket to mark all four locations. One thing to note is don't put the wheels on until after you mount the brackets. Not sure if the directions mentioned it or not, who reads the directions right? Also, you'll need about 6 inches of clearance for the wheels per side. So you could potentially lose a foot of valuable space just for the wheels and brackets. Overall it seems like money well spent.

Attached a caster to each leg spaced 32" apart. connected 2 casters with 2x2s and 1/4" bolts so i can lift each side without wracking the table. Works like a charm. Lifts a very heavy worktable very easily.

I was NERVOUS installing these today, after having read several questionable reviews. Overall, I'm very happy with these. I built an all in one workbench for my tablesaw, miter, and router. My tablesaw is an old cast iron table saw, and it's so heavy I struggle to get it off the ground. I can lift it a few inches but that's it. Noting that fact, when I go to press down the wheels to make the table mobile, I do lift the corners of my table as I press down the wheel just to take the pressure off the lifting mechanism. When I get to the corner with the tablesaw, it's a bit of a beast to get up, but once there, the wheels swivel like a pro. I do wish the quality of the screws that hold the castors to the table were of better quality. The phillips heads stripped pretty quickly from the bit slipping, which left me concerned about the strength of the metal holding the castors on. Granted there are 6 screws per castor. A couple of helpful tips for installing: I attached a wheel to the lift mechanism just like it would be when attached to the table. I set a section of 2x4 under each corner of my table to lift the table off the ground an inch and a half. Then I used the assembled castor and held it against the table legs as though they were sitting fully seated on the ground. I marked the location of the screw holes, and attached a lift without a wheel on it. I don't think you can get a drill in fully with the castors fully assembled, so I added the wheels after the lift was attached. I do wish I had attached them to the insides of my table legs (and will very likely move them). The lift part of the castor sticks out fairly far, making it quite difficult to navigate without catching the lifter on all of the mess in my garage. Totally worth buying, and would buy again.
