Sometimes I snap it like a towel. Works okay on linen and wool. Okay with silk. Does not work well with synthetic fabrics. I have been using this for years. It DOES work well. You spray it on and then either smooth it with your hands OR you can give the clothing item several hard shakes. I have been using this product for years! It is a game changer with regards to removing wrinkles from my clothing. I use it every day. A few sprays onto a wrinkly shirt pretty much takes all the wrinkles out. It works on pants too. I will say that deep wrinkles in items that have just been purchased and shipped to me don’t really work with this product. I have to take those items to the cleaner or get out my steamer.
