Most dog ramps are made for dogs the size of a big rat who rarely have hip and knee problems. This is bigger than most. Buy two if you need a turn around point by stacking one. I do use two sided tape to secure a rug for better traction and to the floor to keep it from moving. Buy 4 if you have a wider dog.
