It's made vg, top cover soft no noise, smaller square pockets excellent to hold down etc . It's not heavy perfect for winter fall warmth , summer probably to warm. It's definitely a vg buy compared to other comforters of similar design and down content 75 % + and white feathers. The description/pictures on Amazon seems to indicate 100% duck down ( best & most expensive) however product tag lists mini 75%. This fact is misleading. Most other companies list % of down , feathers etc. Company, & Amazon should insist, should also list % of fill , however still a v competitive quality product and price , a clear vg buy. ... show more

This duvet insert is even better than I had expected! I have purchased name-brand ones in this price range that are not as fluffy and comfortable as this one. It took a couple of days for it to get fully fluffy, after tossing it in the dryer the first day, then hitting it with the cardboard hand paddle the second day (that was a hoot!). It is so comfortable and cozy, with no noise at all. The baffle box design keeps the down from moving around and the 8 loops keep it securely in place inside the duvet cover. I don’t live in a really cold climate, but it’s definitely all-season for me. Now that it’s getting colder, I don’t want to get out of my warm cozy bed in the mornings. It’s nice enough that you could use it as a comforter, but I like being able to wash the duvet cover regularly, rather than taking this to the dry cleaner more often. Every time I stay at a nice hotel with down comforters, I always wish I had one at home. Well now I do and I love it. My first photo is how it looked right out if the packaging. Within a few hours it had fluffed up nicely as seen in the second picture. The baffle box design ensures that the down remains in place and the classic black piping around the edges gives it a high end look with added durability at the seams. There are 8 loops to secure a duvet but haven’t utilized them. I currently have a very light weight quilt thrown over the top just to protect the white cover from getting covered in my cat’s black fur. The quilt stays in place nicely without being secured. The best part about this comforter is the snuggle factor. I love the way it feels! Just the right amount of warmth and weight. On cold mornings I just want to pull this cover up, roll over and go back to sleep. ... show more
