I wanted a comforter that was oversized because it seems that whom ever makes comforters don’t realize that they need to be wider to even cover the sides of the bed or cover both people. This one is big enough for myself and my husband and we are not small people. I like that it comes down on the sides to cover the whole mattress and frame. This comforter is my favorite because it is warm but not too warm. It’s light weight and very soft. I don’t use a duvet cover so I bought another comforter that is oversized. It too is great but it is warmer and a little heavier. You do need a big washer to wash them but they wash well. I have a professional Maytag. I think that’s what it’s called. It’s the biggest you can buy of the home models. They do fit. Barely but they do. I have one machine with an agitator and one without. I’ve used both machines. Once they’re wet they shrink down from the water so they for in my machine. I don’t think they would fit in a regular sized machine. ... show more
