I'm over 45, have arthritis, do CrossFit, and live in a house with concrete floors. My feet hurt all the time. I needed a pair of slides to wear to/from the gym and Tim Ferris had high praise for these, so I gave it a shot. With Amazon Prime, free shipping and free returns I had nothing to lose. Some things you should know. These are not attractive shoes. These are the type of shoes that kind people, upon noticing them, will say "oh, those look like comfortable shoes." Right? My family is not above telling me, "you know those are ugly, right?" I answer yes, and they say, "ok, just so you know." I don't care that they're ugly. I don't care that when worn with bare feet they sometimes make tiny little "fart" sounds. I don't care. They feel that good. If I am in the house, these puppies are on my feet. I kick them off when I get in bed at night, and they go right back on first thing in the morning. They are supportive, comfy, and easy. And how do my feet feel, you ask? Better. So much better.

All I have to say is WOW, these are like walking on clouds. I’m a busy working mom of 4 with arthritis in my back. I have tile floors in my house and realized I can no longer walk around barefoot. I have hesitated buying these because they’re so expensive but decided I needed to give them a try. While they’re not the most attractive, I actually bought them because they aren’t cute. This way, I won’t be tempted to wear them outside the house. I’m hoping to keep these exclusively my house shoes. If you have an aching back and have been debating buying these, BUY THEM! I was thinking about buying knock-offs to save money but I’m so happy I didn’t and bought the real things.

This is beyond LOVE. I was going to order a wheelchair because my plantar fasciitis had gotten to a point, I couldn't walk much and we were going to Disneyland. OMG, how lucky. I had gone to a podiatrist who basically said the same old things, tape, massage, steps, etc. It had been getting worse for almost a year. Then she hands me this paper of what I should do and then started telling me these shoes were what her clients swear by. It's because, these are liking walking on air, and the extra high arch (don't worry, it's all soft) keeps the heel from taking the strain. AMAZING. I bought another pair and one for my daughter and now for my son who has developed Achilles Heel. I have been wearing these almost straight for about six months, did Disneyland ON MY FEET straight for two long and grueling days, NO PROBLEM. Yes, I still have it, so if I forget and walk around, even on carpet barefoot, I say, OMG, where are those shoes! I am hoping if I don't reinjure it by wearing other shoes, I can eventually not have this problem and wear all those expensive shoes I bought to combat this problem, that did almost nothing. I don't write many reviews, but I had to. Remember these are not MEANT for all day wear everyday. they have no real support. I switched off at Disneyland, and I think that is important, but at home, no way. KEEP THE BODY WEIGHT OFF THAT HEAL, ice it, do the step stretch, and put a tennis ball under your foot, stretch it out. It wall works together, but the catch is, ya gotta actually do it! Happy feet!

I am flat footed (see pic) and I’ve had plantar fasciitis on and off for over 10 years now. I use orthotics and see my podiatrist twice a year. I recently had a severe flare up, so bad it also caused pain in my right hip. I believe that this flare up started when I wore my Footminders Baltra several days for walking. It was too heavy and bulky for me. I researched for an alternative footwear that I can use around the house that will have arc and heel support. I saw this was recommended in several website so I gave it a try. My relief was instant. I am usually a size 6.5 or 7. but after reading several reviews, I got a size down so I bought a 6 which fits me perfectly. You will see in the pic how it cradles my feet very well. This is what I have been wearing since my cortisone shot a week ago and it has been the best thing every for my feet. I wish I can wear this to work because I don’t feel pain when I wear this. It is very light and the material effectively absorbs the pressure on my feet with every step. I don’t usually write reviews and I didn’t get paid to write this review. I’m just really very happy how this slip on relived my pain.

This shoe is so comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis. Walking around in bare feet on hardwood floors has become very painful. My husband ordered these as a surprise for me. He got my shoe size from my sneakers which I always buy a half size larger so they're still comfortable after I add a shoe insert for extra comfort. I normally wear a size 8M shoe otherwise. That being said, he ordered me a size 9. I should probably have exchanged them for the size 8, but I love them so much I want to wear them now. I took pictures to help give a visual for sizing.

Very soft and comfortable (though it would take some getting used to- it initially will make one's foot feel a bit off balance): however, while the Arch area of this line of shoes and sandals look very high and as though it would be supportive, the material that this line of shoes and sandals are made of is so very soft and squishy, that the arch area of this shoe will completely collapse and become level under the weight of a foot with a very flat arch... While the soft foam arch will touch the underside of a the arch of a person's foot, it offers absolutely no true support to a very flat or low arch. When weight is born down on these shoes, the soft foam raised arch area or mound, will collapse under the pressure of a person's flat arch, nce weight is applied.This line of shoes and sandals are not for flat footed or other people who are looking for significant, or even moderate, support. This line of shoes is for people who are not looking to have their arches, "held up" and supported, the way that a Vionic Orthofast shoe or sandal would.
