The bark on Japanese Maple was accidentally harmed while being transplanted-- a nasty gash several inches long. While searching online for a tree wound product, I found a "recipe" for a patch I thought I would try instead. It consisted of this product, clay, and a quality compost mixed together in a slurry. I applied the mixture to the tree one time. The directions stated that it might need to be applied multiple times due to coming loose, but that was not my experience. The damage was done in early March while the tree was still dormant. It is now early April, the tree is thriving and the concoction adhered so well, it became part of the tree. This will be my go-to tree wound product. It probably does well in its intended use, but I haven't tried that yet. ... show more

We bought this hoping to replicate the flavor of the tomatoes in Italy thanks to their volcanic soil. This has really made our tomatoes much more flavorful! We just mixed some into the soil in the grow bags we use for our tomato plants

I couldn't tell any difference in the soil I added it to and the soil I didn't. I like to re purpose my potting soil and after growing in grow bags much of the minerals leech out, so I add them back for the next planting. I might should have added it months before using the soil. A little goes a long way if the soil is depleted. ... show more

This is my go to secret for my garden. Azomite gives you a wide array of micro-nutrients for your plant especially Silica. This nutrient is one of the most important ones, as it helps build strong cell walls, and even helps with disease resistance. I have used this on many different types of plants from veggies, to perennials, and everything else in between! The box itself arrived on time, and with no damage done to it (I got the 1 pound box).
