I haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I do have lots of other products by DTE. It smells authentic, LOL. Actually it's not that bad compared to fish imulsions. I will be using this in small amounts to be mixed into prefermented soil for my worm bedding. Biodiversity the more the merrier.

I buy more than I would like to admit from Amazon but I never leave reviews. That's how excited I am about this stuff! My grandma passed away a few years ago and we had to sell her house. It was built in 1908 and as soon as they finished the house they planted irises along the backside of the house. They were always so beautiful growing up and when we found out we were going to have to part with the house, I dug up a box full of iris bulbs in hopes that I could bring them back to life in a different spot for my grandma. I knew I was planning to move in about 8 months so I didn't plant the bulbs at the house I was at, instead I stored them in newspaper in the garage waiting for the move. I transplanted the bulbs two years ago and while the green leaves were beautiful, they wouldn't put on any buds. This year one week after I applied this my first buds appeared and in about 2 weeks I had full blooms! The stems and leaves are growing like crazy too and they look healthier than they did at the old house. This stuff brought 100+ year old iris bulbs back to life and I am so thankful and relieved. I've never been so stressed over the performance of a flower :-) Great to have grandma here with me and I will now be using it in my garden and worm bin too. Can't say enough good things!

Obviously, it smells nasty compared to regular bonemeal. I’m not sure if the extra nitrogen and other trace minerals are making a difference in my garden yet.
