I purchased this set because of the number of pieces it contained, but I had to laugh at myself, wondering when I’d ever use the hacksaw in my new apartment. Turned out to be one of the first things I used! I would have rated the set higher, but the bag isn’t very well designed and things tend to fall around in it. I might have to look for an insert for more stability.

It is a good beginners tool set. Ideal for anyone, whether they be first time homeowners, renters, or DIYs. Not sure about long term use, since some of the tools feel light and a bit flimsy. Arrives in a convenient storage bag, that has plenty of room to add more tools as you go. Overall, this is a nifty tool set that will help you complete small DIY projects around your home.

This is a great starter kit, with some room to add things later on. Everything seems about as sturdy as you'd expect, for the price. I haven't had the chance to really put these through their paces, but everything seemed pretty good. I do wish the bag had a bit more organization -- there are a couple of small pockets on the front, and 3 pockets inside. The putty knife seems like a bit of an odd choice to include, but heck, you never know when it'll come in handy, I guess. For the price, this is a great starter kit (a toolkit is my favorite gift to give to high school grads).
