This baking dish is absolutely beautiful and functional. The embossed Arctic White design looks elegant on the table, and the ceramic quality feels solid and durable. It’s the perfect size and depth for lasagna, casseroles, baked pasta, and desserts. Plenty of room without spilling over. But I definitely filled it to its max with baked ziti. The even heat distribution makes everything bake perfectly, and I love that it goes from oven to table effortlessly thanks to the built-in handles. Cleanup is a breeze too the smooth glaze doesn’t stain and wipes clean easily, even after cheesy or saucy dishes. It also makes a fantastic gift, the packaging and design look high-end, and it’s practical enough for everyday use. Beautiful, sturdy, and versatile, a must-have for any kitchen.

This is a nice and durable 9x13 baking dish. Typically I use stoneware dishes because I like the fact they are continually being seasoned so there isn't a lot of clean up issues and the fact that this is ceramic coated makes the clean up on this relatively easy. This piece is dishwasher and microwave safe, so again convenience is key for those who are looking for the easiest ways to get in and out of the kitchen. The quality of the dish is very good. It's sturdy without being overly heavy. Once you have the ingredients for whatever dish you're making you can rest assured the handles aren't going to suddenly give way -- everything is molded as one piece and have been finished with a smooth outer layer of coating. The rustic look of brown/off white or "arctic white" is nice and compliments the vintage charm that many folks enjoy. The Celtic look of the design is also appealing for those who enjoy the draw of the Celtic style. I've enjoyed other Dowan pieces and hope to continue to grow my collection and highly recommend this baking dish. (Ours had one small flaw - it look like a small piece of sand/dirt got into the kiln and was baked into the finish - see close up of tiny black speck.)
