The media could not be loaded. Really awesome piece of equipment for those who get bored or are tired of traditional cardio exercises like running or walking. When you use it you can really feel many of your muscles working. Biceps, back, glutes, core, etc. While the resistance isn’t adjustable, the height of the handles is adjustable and I’ve found that putting them at their max height provides more of a challenge. You can of course try doing some HIIT or circuit training when using this to get more of a burn. Setting up the machine was really easy. I had it out of the box and fully set up in about 15 minutes. If you’ve ever set up anything before, it’s pretty easy to see where everything goes, even without the instructions. The package includes everything you need, including the tools, and even includes grease for the moving parts which I’d definitely recommend using since it makes the climb mechanism move so much more smoothly. I also love that you can fold it up and store it in a closet. There are wheels on the stand which makes moving it around a breeze. ... show more

My wife and I decided to get this vertical climber a try so we can do full body exercise at home indoor and we could not be any happier. This is better than running in my option. WHAT I LIKE: [+] It's a whole body workout! Legs, arms, cores, and everything in between! [+] Takes very little space when using it [+] Can be folded almost flat when not using for even more space saving [+] Comes with LCD monitor that can track the count, time, distance, and calories! [+] It doesn't have hard impact on your knees like when you are running so it's better than running for me as I have bad knees [+] Great packaging and easy to assemble WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] Nothing! BOTTOM LINE: 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for whole body workout to burn some serious calories. It doesn't have any adjustable resistance but I knew that already as this is mentioned on the page so it basically uses your own body weight (similar to push ups). The media could not be loaded. The climber was great for 1 week. However, the right side started to slide rough. I noticed the mechanism on the right step started rubbing against the metal. From my photo, you can see the rubber flakes. If you watch the video, you can hear the harsh rubbing. Updated: Contacted customer with problem. They sent me replacement roller to install. However, same problem continued with new part. I let them know the problem persisted. Doufit sent me a completely new machine. This machine seems to work better than the previous one. The assembly process was quick, I followed only the instructions and Step by step is very simple. The only precaution is to use the grease so that the climer runs smoothly. We have been using the product for several weeks and we really noticed the difference, it generates a very complete exercise. The product is used by my wife and I, we can easily adjust according to the height of each one. The LCD screen gives me information that my watch does not give me like how many repetitions we are doing. When it comes to storing, my wife can easily move it because it has wheels that facilitate its mobility and the storage space does not need to be very large.     • Worth investing in for your mental and bodily health.
Ordered and got the machine sooner than expected. Yay. Setting it up was simple. If you've put stuff together before or like puzzles you'll have no issues. BUT if you have not put together an IKEA set before please get a puzzle-loving friend to help you, you'll be done in 20 minutes. The machine is well made, all parts are provided including grease to lubricate the above shoulder arm square rods (highly recommend you lube a lot). I've had it for about 4 days and each day I've done 60-second sets at least 3 times a day or more if I can fit it in. It feels really good to get that much done. I know most of the other reviews are from more fit people...I'll get to that level at some point but for now, the most I can do is a minute of the workout and I'm proud of it. :) It's a high anaerobic cardio set. I start sweating in those 60 seconds on my neck. After one week I hope to go up to 2 minutes or 120 seconds but it's a tough workout for someone who's not done it in over 3 years I might have to slow it down to 30-second increases. I remember this machine being my favorite machines at the gym because it's all about your pace, form, and using the whole body breathing. Regardless of goals, I do feel my quads, forearms, some abs, biceps, and pectoral muscle groups getting a workout and getting a bit sore. All the good kind of sore. I hope to keep up with this and provide a follow-up review in a week or two. At the time of review, this machine is out of stock but I hope they make more. Purchased a week ago and very fast shipping and there customer service is very polite and helpful sending email very prompt if any issues or missing parts to let them know. I have used the vertical climber for 3 days and already getting quick results in my legs and butt thighs toning up. I had been using airwalk machine and portable ellpitcal in the past but i reached a point to where i felt i needed to upgrade to better cardio and strength training machine. This does it all and 30 minutes or less you really feel the burn. So far so good and i am very pleased with my purchase. It was also very easy to assemble 15 minutes or less. ... show more
