I ordered this Double Stitch by Bedsure Luxury USA White Down Pillow - 400 Thread Count 100% Cotton Shell, 700 Fill Power pillow for our bedroom. I have a pretty messed up spine. Fusions, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease. I live with a lot of daily pain, and to sleep at night, I have a carefully curated selection of pillows that let me recline at a slightly higher than 45 degree angle. These are supplemented with an array of smaller pillows tucked under my knees, hips, and any new place that decided to hurt today. My husband calls my huge stack of pillows my bunk bed, and I’m sure it looks funny when we sleep. He’s flat on the mattress with one pillow under his head and one between his knees. Meanwhile, I’m way up above him, nestled into my wedge of pillows. But it lets me sleep next to him, which is where I want to be, not sitting in some recliner. I prefer down pillows to all other kinds, and I’ve tried so many kinds of pillows. Memory foam is always too hot for me. Down alternative just doesn’t cradle me the way I like. Blocks of supportive foam don’t give enough. A good down pillow is supportive and soft at the same time. It molds to you. I’ve never had a pillow this pricey before. I have slept on some pretty great pillows at high end hotels, and I would definitely say that this pillow is on a par with those. It is beautifully plump, overstuffed just enough that it holds your head nicely, supporting your neck while cradling you. These Canadian made pillows have a triple chamber design, kind of like a sandwich. The “bread” on the top and bottom is a mix of 80% goose down and 20% feather. The “filling” is 100% feathers. The 400 thread count cotton fabric is a bright white and smooth to the touch. The pillow is about 20” x 30”. I put a cooling bamboo pillowcase on it, and put it on top of my Great Wall of pillows. When I reclined into my pillow stack, it was like a supportive hug. The pillow is so soft, so fluffy, but it’s also firm. This isn’t the kind of down pillow where your head sinks through to the mattress. It’s like a cloud of comfort. This pillow is made in Canada of feathers sourced in the US. It has DOWNMARK certification and is certified by OEKO-TECH standard 100. It is nontoxic. Unlike many other pillows, this arrived full and plump. It was not vacuum wrapped, with the air sucked out. I gave it a fluff or two, and it was good to go. I’m extremely grateful to the Vine program for the opportunity to review this pillow. Otherwise, it would have been totally out of my budget. Yes, this is a bit pricey. (Currently $139.99) But I think it’s worth every penny of the price. This is really a wonderful pillow. The only other time I’ve felt this precise combination of support and softness was when we stayed in a hotel that catered heavily to business trade and had a “sleep experience” including CDs of selected soothing songs or meditative talks, lavender sprays, essential oils to stimulate sleep, and a curated menu of pillows. I’ll admit it, I found the whole thing a little silly (though we left with lovely gifts, some very nice sleep masks and plenty of earplugs) but I always remembered the pillows there. This is that kind of pillow. I can prop it against my back to read, and it’s sturdy and strong. I can put it under my head to sleep, and it’s heavenly soft, but still supportive. It stays cool all night long, and if I flip it over, the other side is even cooler. It fits me perfectly.

I'm a stomach sleeper and wanted a firm pillow, and had hoped this luxurious downfilled pillow would be my end-all. It's very nicely packaged and double stitched, very durable. The sateen outer case is very soft. But it wasn't firm enough. Your head still sinks into the pillow and didn't provide the support I was looking for.

Pillows come and pillows go, but this is a MUST HAVE. I love this pillow. So well made and feels like a million dollars. The outside "shell" is soft, yet holds the feathers in very well. That is always an issue, whether the inside feathers will pop out or not. This pillow offers what I would consider "medium firm" support and has been perfect for me, as a stomach sleeper.

Hailing from Canada and now in the U.S, I'm always excited to review something from My Home and Native Land. That excitement is well-deserved for these pillows. I slept on it for the first time last night. It is like the finest duck-down hotel pillow. The only way it could get better if it was goose down, but you would pay substantially more for one of those with a good fill power and 20% down percentage, and made in North America. It's so fluffy, I had difficulty getting it into my pillowcase. An upper back and neck issue has kept me unceasingly on the hunt for The Perfect Pillow. My favorite has been a discontinued memory foam one from The Sharer Image. This firm pillow matches that, only with natural feathers. Lesser pillows have only 10% down which does not meet the industry standard minimum of 20%. The Canadian manufacturer is a member of a nonprofit down trade group that ensures high quality. Frankly, you cannot go wrong. Definitely a keeper and worthy of my rarely-awarded 5 stars (eh!). My rating system: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value! 4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy. 3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised. 2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews! 1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.

Like most homes, our pillows are old, and we just do not think about replacing them. We are certainly glad we selected this down pillow by Bedsure, as it not only looks great, but feels great too! Right out of the box you can tell this is a well made pillow. The outer shell is cotton, and all of the seams are nice and tight. There was not any odd odor, nor any feather or down poking out. The loft is firm and does not seem to want to flatten easily. This is a good thing, as all too often, down/feather pillows look nice and fluffy, but once you actually use them they flatten out quite a bit. Not so with this one. I did not find a zip up pillow cover for this yet, but I did put one king pillowcase on in one direction and a second one on in the other for added protection. You will not be disappointed with this pillow by Bedsure. Yes, it is pricey, but when you think about how long it will last and the fact that you will be using this practically every night, it is a real bargain.
