The tape is easy to apply. The red peel might be tricky to take off but its not rocket science. The adhesive holds well and strong. I used it to mount LED lights around the mirror and the lights are holding in place well with no sign of adhesive coming off.

I purchased this to repair the stainless steel front panel on a GE microwave/convection oven, which was peeling off. Upon receipt, I discovered that this tape was very similar, if not identical to the tape that was originally used by GE, so it appears to have been the correct choice. However, after the first piece (which has the protective plastic protruding past the end of the tape) is cut and applied, all successive pieces are extremely difficult to use. Specifically, getting the protective plastic off is close to impossible without damaging the underlying foam tape. I eventually managed with a combination of stretching and peeling, but it was less than ideal and very frustrating. It's possible that you'd be able to cut through the plastic without going through the tape using a very sharp X-acto knife, but I didn't have one on hand. ... show more
