Where to start? The cords are messily and too-simply knotted with loose threads sticking out, and the hammock doesn't lay flat. One side is higher than the other, due to cord tension. I dislike trusting my weight to simple half knots. May well return this, as inconvenient as that is. I am not well pleased with this hammock. Probably should have given it a lower score, as I doubt it will last all that long if used. Edit: I contacted Cool Happy Things about the problems and she sent me a replacement hammock. It only took one day to get here, and it's much better made than the first one. So I revoke my original, negative review. Now I'm happy with this hammock. Thanks for your help, Amy. ... show more

I have an acute allergy to mold and spores. After just 3 days hanging out in our 3 season room (completely enclosed by screens), there are spores and black mold starting to grow all over this hammock. Because the hammock’s vinyl material is both porous and fairly thick, it allows moisture to get in but doesn’t breathe nearly enough for it to fully dry out. There is a reason that boat covers are made out of marine grade vinyl. ... show more

I just put up the hammock but it feels sturdy and comfortable! It was so easy to put this up, literally a few minutes. I only needed an additional hand because I didn’t want the hammock on the dirt (and the dogs would jump right in top of it), otherwise it could definitely be a one person job. Tested it out with two people and the weight held! I’m also very glad this was long enough to fit between my two spaced out trees. Although I’ve only just put this up tonight and haven’t had a chance to wait to see if there are any issues yet, I’d recommend this. Hopefully it stays durable and no issues at all! ... show more

This is a great balcony/porch hammock. It is tied up on the railings of my balcony, and it fits perfectly. I live in Miami, and it rains like crazy and is consistently humid. Over time in these conditions, it will of course start to mold slightly if you forget to bring it indoors. No need to worry with this hammock though. I machined washed it with bleach yesterday, and it came out beautiful and clean again! I would be cautious drying it with any heat because it can shrink. This happened to me, but using it a couple of times stretched it back out. Great, thick and STURDY hammock that is easy to take care of. ... show more

Had it for a few weeks now, and it’s holding up great. Been soaked half a dozen times, and dries within a day. The material is sturdy enough to easily shake dirt loose, and is soft enough to rub against bare skin. Easily held my husband, me, and our dog without any stretching. (340 lbs) Setup was easy, and the straps that came with it were a great value. Our trees are about 15 feet apart, for reference. Would recommend! ... show more

My wife bought this. She was a bit apprehensive because of the lack of reviews, but she is so glad she bought it. It is a really high quality product. The design is great and makes the hammock really easy to tweak and get the angle and height just right. The one critique I have is that it would be nice if this company gave a little more thorough explanation of how to install. I was able to figure it out pretty quickly but it was nerve racking because it was my first time setting up a hammock and I didn’t want my wife to get hurt because I’d installed it wrong. ... show more
