Bought this remote-control Double E Volvo RC Dump Truck toy along with the remote-control Double E Remote Control Excavator toy for my grandson on his 3rd birthday. Very pleased with the quality of each of the toys. They are very sturdy and well made. Battery life is good. My grandson plays with both toys till the battery is depleted on both. He can't wait till the batteries are charge up to play again. He adapted to the remote control on both toys like a champ! The recommended age of 6 7 8 9 10-year-olds for the Dump Trunk was originally a concern, but I can highly testify that my grandson had absolutely no problem at all. I highly recommend both these toys.

Purchased this truck for the Grandson to go with a RC excavator. Very realistic with sound, turn signals, lights and back-up warning beeper. The size is comparable with the excavator and work well together. The remote control has an ignition button to start and stop the truck, which means you can’t turn off the sound. One issue is only the far rear tires have traction so when you go over something, like a little hill, the far rear tires come off the ground and spin. Depending on the surface you’re on you can eliminate this issue if you can go fast. Battery life seems good, but I didn’t exhaust the initial charge because of a problem I had with the dump bed not always going down. However, I created a return label on Saturday afternoon, dropped off at a return center on Sunday and had a new truck Monday. Ready awesome toy; hope this one lasts because the Grandson and I really want to keep this truck. Five stars, even though we had a problem it’s a great toy and customer service was outstanding.

My little brother loves this toy. He says he uses it in snow and mud and it doesn’t get stuck. We’ve had it for almost a year and it still runs great. And the remote control is easy to navigate!

Bought this dump truck as a Christmas present for my 7 year old son. He loves it and plays with it almost daily. Battery life seems to be good. I just wish they offered the option for an extra battery pack. The dump truck is still going strong after 5 months. I would buy it again. Great product!

I bought this truck to go with my rc excavator. The truck arrived on time and in perfect condition. It looks just like the real truck. This is where the pros stop. The battery it comes with is about the size and thickness of a business card even though the battery compartment is quite large (more on this later). Only the rear set of tires is powered, so it gets stuck on anything other than a hard surface like concrete, or interior flooring. The bed has very little power and will not dump if it has more than a quarter of the bed filled. I complained to the seller and they said it sounded like i needed more battery power and offered to send a new battery. Inwent a step further. I ordered two 1000 mah batteries, made a y harness and have both installed at once in the large battery compartment. I now have 4 times the battery power than what it came with. No change in how well it dumps a load. The sound effects cannot be turned off. But you can take the cab off and unplug the speaker easily and it will not disable any of the other features.

Works great. Nice that you can have two or more running at the same time without worrying about frequency changes. It is a little hard to plug in the rechargeable batteries into the bottom of the excavator with large hands. Otherwise, great toy. Love it!

The excavator has cool attachments that function which look cool. However I was expecting to spend a little extra money than the cheaper models expecting to get one that me and my son could play with like an actual excavator. First use we went to a sandpit. The bucket could not dig. The sand was slightly damp from rain the previous day but not caked like water level beach sand. I broke it up by hand and fluffed it up but the bucket still could not scoop more than 10% of bucket capacity and that was by using the tracks to drag bucket into sand pile. The motor for arm/attachments along with the gears are just too weak. Any load and they click like they are skipping teeth. The attachments themselves and excavator seem well built but the mechanical system is lacking for any reasonable play. Battery lasted about 30 minutes. Controls are a bit complex for young children as expected with all movement and excavator has but not functional enough for fun at age group that can handle the controls.
