I used this product to heat water quickly in a large pot. With the adjustable flow valve I was able to heat water that normally took 40 minutes in only 20 minutes. I used the 10 psi setting by simply turning the dial on the connector to 10 and the flames from the burner really increased in volume. The valve opens and closes effortlessly. It can connect and remove the connection on and off my propane tank effortlessly requiring no tools.

I purchased this due to my 36" blackstone grill not getting hot enough with the stock gas regulator. I can say without a doubt, this is the regulator that should have came from the factory with the grill. It took all of 2 minutes to swap from the factory line to this new one and I can easily adjust the gas flow with the red dial as I cook. I'm starting to use my blackstone almost daily now due to purchasing this product. Stop reading reviews and purchase this, I highly recommend it.

Edited...I down graded from 5 stars to three because the brass fitting leaked when I used the provided rubber gasket. The rubber gasket is not necessary. Brass compression fittings are designed to work gasket free. The fitting leaked when I used the rubber casket. I do not recommend using it. The hose and regulator works perfect for my very old Bayou Classic turkey fryer when used without the rubber gasket. Unscrew the old hose and brass jet fitting then install the new brass jet fitting and hose. Tighten the brass compression fitting. It is that simple. There is also no use for the Teflon tape in the kit. It is not necessary and actually inappropriate for these fittings.
