If you’re a flower grower, I wouldn’t recommend these seeds. The mix seems to contain about 20% perlite, which can be problematic for germination. I didn’t spread this bag out, but it looks exactly as shown on the Amazon site. From years of experience, I’ve found that perlite isn’t ideal for germinating seeds. It’s not a huge issue, but I had to spend about 15 minutes sifting out the perlite to ensure pure growth material for the first half-inch of root development. I just purchased this product, and I noticed it’s made in China. This makes me wonder if any additional fertilizer was added. While I’m not concerned about the plants being organic, I’m curious about the content because seeds generally don’t respond well to fertilizers.

This is the tiniest package, I can’t believe I paid so much for dirt that will fit in one palm. I can only hope that my plant grows better than the others. I thought that I was getting a large bag of potting soil so I guess I misunderstood the sizing.

I am very happy with purchase. My soil came moist and fluffy (don't forget to seal bag as good as you can so air gets out between uses). Soil is working and plants are growing! I use this for added soil to many of my existing plants. I have also used it for starting seeds.
