I somehow ordered this full face helmet when I meant to order the modular. I reached out to HAX through Amazon explaining my mistake and asking how it should be handled, They suggested it will be quicker/easier to purchase the modular and send the full face back for a refund. The more I looked at the full face version, the more I liked it and showed it to my wife, who fell in love with it so I just kept it for her. My modular came the next day so I contacted them again, and both times received timely responses to my inquiries. A few days later I noticed a $30 coupon for the modular, so I reached out to them again and they were more than happy to refund me the difference. I read a few reviews that cautioned their customer service, but that is not what I experienced. They were quick to respond, answered all my questions, and issued a refund. I just got done setting both helmets up with Bluetooth intercom. I used mine for the first time yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the fit and performance. For me, having the ability to go open face at any given time quickly is massive. The vents seem to be in all the right places and they work well. I highly recommend this helmet and company. The helmet itself looks great, fits well, and feels comfortable. However, I was disappointed to find that the visor arrived with noticeable scratches right out of the box. A new helmet should not have cosmetic defects, especially on a part that affects visibility. I’m hoping customer support will provide a replacement visor.
