The factory fitting began to seep when the truck was less than a year old. I simply installed a worm gear clamp and I didn’t have any problems. One of my cooler lines recently developed a small leak so I replaced both low pressure hoses. Time will tell if this hose is worth it.

What else can I say? Fricken amazing! After calling around (napa and autozone didn't seem to know what I was talking about) I found the exact part on amazon! Would have given it an excellent but they stuck it to me on shipping. It was as much as the part!

2005 Dodge Ram 1500: had an OEM line that started to leak, I have 204,XXX miles on the engine and frame, my daily driver. It was time to replace this line, easy to get to and replace, be sure to have a bucket nearby to catch the power steering fluid. This worked out great for me, I read the manual and Dodge recommends ATF for the power steering fluid. A shop installed the power steering pump years ago and during the line change I saw that they used regular power steering fluid (slightly amber colored fluid), fluid was drained and replaced w recommend AFT. Power steering pump doesn't leak anymore and the little bit of whining near lock out is gone now. ... show more
