My positive terminal connection on my 2013 Ford F-150 Ecoboost crumbled off like a cookie due to corrosion. I was stressed out because the part from the dealership is a crimp on and requires a lot of extra work to connect. Luckily I found this part and holy crap am I glad I found it. Very easy to install.     • Fixed 2017 Ford Explorer battery terminal problem
The original positive terminal was almost dissolved by corrosion. Had to remove old terminal without cutting the original cable’s length which took a while. Clamped on the new Dorman terminal to the original cable and adjusted to fit the Explorer configuration. A bit of trouble, but worth it when comparing to a Ford part price. ... show more

This worked great…lots of reviews say it’s flimsy and breaks. I had no issues, just don’t wrench on it. Saves my a good $300 from OEM wiring harness and lots of hours. Worth every penny with todays wiring…not just a simpl task on these newer vehicles with fuses and 3-4 wires coming straight off the battery. If yours is all corroded means the bottom plate of the terminal is most likely rusted through so order this before u try and take your old one off. They had in stock at local auto store same box and labels…was able to wait the shipping time-3 daysish but saved $10. ... show more

Installation was more difficult than expected due to the difficulty of removing the old part and the original factory crimp. This part is great, fitment was perfect and has the multiple connection points necessary to easily put everything back together.

Got this for my 2011 Ford Ranger as the stock one was eaten through by a leaking battery. Installed easily and worked very very well. Had to cut the stock battery cables as they were crimped on by the factory and couldn't be bothered to un-crimp them. Still plenty of length in the wires to reach the new terminal as this one is longer than the stock. Loved the accessory posts as I a few amps with dedicated feeders that I used them for. The metal could be a little bit beefier as cranking down on the post fasteners tends to bend the terminal but if you take care you shouldn't have any issues. ... show more
