ram 1500 2014 , po520 code, oil pressure on dash board was close to 80 psi. I believe sensor was malfunctioning, replaced it and is now down to 57psi which is normal like before, this sensor fits and looks like OEM. will drive it to see if code clears, will update if not.

When replacing oil filter cooler housing you need to transfer your old parts to the new housing. It's better to just replace this with new wile your there since the original has likely seen a lot of use.

Check engine light came on showing a code for oil pressure. Dash showed 99psi. Pulled off the plug and there was oil all in it. Replaced with this bad boy and there is no longer a check engine light and oil pressure shows normal.

I purchased this very same sensor last year for my Chrysler 300 and i had to more or less force it to thread in. It lasted six months before the sensor was registering 99 PSI again. I purchased another one a few weeks back and this time the threads didnt line up at all. To make sure it was the sensor threads and not the engine(or me crossthreading), I purchased a 1/8" NPT plug and sure enough, the plug screwed right in no problem. I've bought dorman sensors before and have had no problems but this one in particular I would stay away from. I ordered the standard brand shortly after and had no problems installing and did not have to force it in. To get one bad sensor threaded is one thing... to have it die within a year is another... then to have another one ordered with threads so bad I cant even start it... three strikes - I'm out ... show more

    • Does the job well
4 weeks in and still good. Replaced the oil filter on my 2015 grand caravan with the upgraded aluminum aftermarket one. This fit well and seems to work just fine.
