Replacement part for a 2003 Toyota Sienna XLE. Worked fine for a little while but then threw a different check engine code. The new code pointed to a bad VSV switch on the new canister. Took the old VSV (OEM) off the old canistor installed it on the new/replacement canistor and it cleared all check engine codes. By the way, the new VSV tested good. I installed this less than 2 years ago and now I have a failed VSV again. The only way to purchase a new VSV is to purchase this entire canister assembly. Dorman customer service tells me that they offer a lifetime warranty to their distributors but it is up to the distributor to honor that warranty. I cannot file a warranty claim with Amazon so I guess it was just an expensive lesson. Buy OEM. ... show more

Exact fit and replacement on my 2001 Toyota Sienna. Easy enough install and comes with replacement bolts for all the mountings. The canister sits just behind the gas tank and in front of the spare tire under the vehicle. Just remove the skid cover to access the canister.

It was very good product. I had three faults showing in my OBDII scanner. Taken out the old one, then put in the new Evaporative charcoal cannister and all faults were gone. I've waited a few hundred miles traveling before I made this review.

    • Check Engine Light on? Hard to put in Gas? This will Fix it!
Had check engine light, plus van was very difficult to put gas in. This fixed it, works like new, plus fuel gauge goes all the way to full now. Cost of same cannister was $100 more at local part stores.
