Thermostat itself works great, I gave 4 stars because a week after installation the gasket went bad and caused a leak. I purchased a blue one from autozone fix the problem perfectly.

Super easy installation. I didn't use the thermostat it came with but used a 165° temp one instead for my 99 jeep grand Cherokee 4.7l instead. Putting the new thermostat inside the housing was a pain but I got it in there. I also used a little high temp blue gasket sealer to make sure it didn't leak after installation and no leaks. Make sure the tab on the thermostat lines up with the tab hole on the housing. I'd buy this for all my future vehicles if needed. ... show more
