  • The easiest kit ever
This was the easiest fuel lines I have ever replaced on a Chevy it gets all the stars

  • 2003 suburban z71
Kit was overall very easy to install. All ends just connect into each other. A little congested around the fuel filter area but worth every penny. Cut up some hose and zip tie it around the lines where it comes in contact with frame and and module bracket. Everything is labeled so there is no confusion. Would 100% buy again ... show more

  • Good alternative to hard lines BUT...
I was replacing the rusted brake lines in my 2004 (FLEX Fuel) Yukon and figured I'd do the fuel lines while I was at it. I stumbled on this kit while looking for stainless hard lines and it seemed like a good alternative. I had access to a lift and I couldn't imagine doing this on my back in the driveway. Overall, I believe that this kit did make the job easier, but there are a few problems that cropped up that shouldn't have. 1. Although I don't think it is mentioned on the Amazon page, the Dorman website claims this kit is for FLEX fuel Yukons. It is not. The piece that goes from the flex fuel sensor to the filter is not included. Mine was in OK shape, so I reused it. 2. Since I already had the gas tank removed to make the brake line replacement easier, it helped a lot with getting these lines installed. I also removed the front drive shaft to make routing these lines easier. You might be able to do it without removing those, but it would be a struggle. 3. The kit included a bunch of rubber lined straps to hold the fuel lines. I didn't use them. I left most of the original lines installed and zip tied the flexible lines to them. It made installation easier and I don't think it will cause any problems in the future. Time will tell. 4. The fuel lines that go to the tank have the wrong shape. My Yukon has 2 lines going to the fuel pump. They are plastic along the top of the tank and have a 90 deg turn at the front of the tank. The original hard lines that connect to them there also had a 90 deg turn. The flexible lines from this kit are both straight and one of them was a little shorter than the other. They worked, but getting the tank back in and then connecting the lines was a real chore. If they had been 6" longer, or had the proper bends, it would have been so much easier. 5. The vent line that goes to the canister had the wrong connector on it. It had a male fuel line connector, but I needed one of those female connectors that snap on. I cut the old one off of my original line and used a heat gun to soften up the plastic so I could push it onto the new connector. The I sealed it with adhesive lined shrink tube to make sure it stayed put. It should never see pressure so I am confident it will hold up. I would buy this kit again, but if I had known what I know now, I may have looked a little a little longer at the hard line kits. ... show more

  • The vapor line in the kit won't attach to the vapor canister. Both are male fittings.
The lines make it easier to replace since they are flexible . They are very expensive for something that needs to be modified in order for it to work properly.

  • Quality looks good, did not fit my flex-fuel 2002 Suburban.
Did not fit my Flex-fuel 2002 Suburban. Connectors not right, not intermediate line between fuel filter and Flex-fuel sensor. went to Doorman's website to verify part #. Part number and description was correct, but the parts listed were the same as what I received so wasn't Amazon's problem.
