This worked wonderfully as a replacement for the OEM. Fit was perfect and held battery down which the old one didn't. You don't want your battery slopping around all over the place and it isn't good when it does so buy this. I replaced this in about 15 minutes. I removed the battery and the hold down, unclipped the harness from the filler neck, took the hose off near the radiator cap, then ir was 1 13mm bolt. Wiggle the old one out, wiggle the new one in and put everything back in reverse order. I would recommend buying a replacement hose that comes with a rubber fitting for the tank so you don't have to wrestle the old one out. Installed on a 1998 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, but it should fit any 4th gen F-body. ... show more

Got this to replace my original reservoir on my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. My original got contaminated and then started leaking so i had to replace. This was an exact fit to replace, and the only thing i had to do extra was get a new "Coolant Overflow Tank Battery Tray Hose Grommet HT10188032" because these have the rubber tube connected to a galvanized tube, that goes into the reservoir with a special grommet that i couldn't find anywhere. Perfect 5 star rating would have been if the grommet came with. ... show more

Looks like a weird put holder. I don't know what it is... I don't know what it does.... I guess it cools the engine? My husband wanted it for Christmas, so my husband gets it for Christmas. I didn't really bother LOOKING at it well after receiving it. Honestly, if it was broken, I'd have no clue. I took a quick glance in the box, figured it looked like the cup holder thingy on a stick, wrapped it up nicely with a big bow and figured it was a "WIN FOR THE WIFEY! Look at me and my awesome self, buying my hubby car parts he asked for!" I'll let you all know if whatever the heck this is works. I'm sure he'll let me know after he tries to install it.
