Honestly, I think this is a good kit overall for a beginner like myself. After using it, I think $75 is a little bit excessive but I'm glad I got it. It's help me understand how the tools work (with the help of YT videos) without worrying that I'm going to damage something expensive. I've only used this on salvaged leather, not thick or stiff pieces. I feel as though the products would preform best with thick leather as apposed to the soft leathers that I have been practicing with. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy but I am happy with the product it is definetly for beginners. There are a few tools that I replaced with higher quality ones but overall good for the money. I replaced the swivel knife hole punches and I got a utility knife to cut the leather
