I was ready to ship this right back, because the rustic description made me think it would not fit in my modern kitchen. However, it is much more industrial than modern and I like the touch of wood with metal. It was pretty simple to assemble, although you will need a Phillips screwdriver for the screws to hang the hooks as only an Allen wrench is included. The pictures posted of the item made me think I could hang eight mugs and keep my sugar container on the bottom shelf. However, you would need a very short container as you can see from my picture attached. I do love that it’s narrow and does not take up a lot of space on the counter but be sure to measure your coffee cups and the space you want to put it before ordering ... show more

I liked the size but didn't not take into account the distance my bigger mugs would take so I couldn't use every hook (my bad) BUT wherever they put a letter sticker, the adhesive required solvent which I will not have to buy (Goof Off) adding on to the price. Also on the top crossbar with hooks part of the finish was broken off. I'll have to fill that in with grey folk art paint, I guess. This was one of the higher priced cup rack so I was a bit disappointed that whoever drilled the holes for the hooks messed up the finish and just let it go. ... show more

There’s no way you can fit 4 mugs across and still have the height for anything on the bottom shelf. Clearly the picture was photo shopped or they used Demitasse cups. I will be returning.

Over all the product is ok, not difficult to put together and seems sturdy, but the quality of some of the parts is very lacking. (See Photos).
