I have a pink version of this Dorcy flashlight so my 5 yo granddaughter can play with when she comes over. A recent electrical outage at night necessitated a flashlight that could be hung from the chain lamppost above the dining table, as it’s positioned centrally in the main room and acts like a table lantern for the entire main room. The flashlight is bright enough and has a carabiner clip on the butt end of it to hang perfectly during an outage. The batteries last for 7-8 hours if fresh. Perfect for our needs. Additionally it’s waterproof to some extent and will float if dropped in the water (we’ve never tested this). All in all I’d buy again. Also the pink and yellow colors are cheapest. Why? Bought for my daughter to take to overnight camp. Comes with 3 no name batteries. Unscrew the top and remove the battery compartment to install the batteries. Just make sure to put the battery compartment back in facing the correct direction.

Bought this for child’s camping trip, it was the perfect size - not huge and clunky, and not tiny so it would be missing. It doesn’t roll away either. The light was nice and bright, and easily fit in the side of their backpack. Would buy again if needed.
