Locking a dementia patient in your house for their safety sucks and is expensive trying all sorts of products. we thought this would work but the will to "go Home" in a Dementia Sundowner rant is more powerful than these. In the end we hung blankets over the doors with hooks so she could not see the high up door flap lock and said it was too cold outside. out of sight, out of mind. Well, she is always out of mind. Got busy body babies that know how to open doors? Not anymore with these things… they spin and spin on the doorknobs. They are easy to install on standard doorknobs and they have holes on both sides so we smart adults can grab the real door knob and turn it. These are not like the old ones you have to squeeze these are great. I cannot help myself but to giggle at my inside joke as the kiddos see me go in and out but that cant no matter how hard they try. LOL

These are an absolute life saver! They keep my toddler nephew out of my room unwanted now that he has figured out how to open my door. So, I have put these on certain door knobs in the house and they have helped so much. They fit different sized knobs so they work better on some door knobs compared to others. And, they are pretty easy to get off so keep that in mind (hopefully he won't have that figured out soon) lol. All in all, I would buy these again. They are a great value and the fact that there is a 4 pack is great. I didn't think I would need all of them but I am using them all and very happy where I have them placed.

These things work awesome and helped keep my kid in him room/bed at bedtime when he used to leave every few minutes before. The only drawback is that it doesn’t work the best on some knobs that are shallow (like the Schlage Georgian doorknobs).
