Lets me quite frank about his. I had the kind of door attachment that only secured at the top. I needed something I could put on my closet door and leave in place so I can just connect my bands to and use for a few minutes. This gives me the security that it will not only not break free or bend my door top, but it is 5 different loops where you can insert the strap for the height level you need to have it at so you can get a good work out or stretch. For me i needed it to be at shoulder level for right now. Interesting is when a friend saw this, he wanted to use it right away and knew how to use the different levels, straps, to do different exercises. Something i'm not ready for. The closet door faces my living room so I am able to put a chair there so I can sit, watch tv, and get some stretching in. Great multipurpose use. ... show more

This door-anchor strap system for use with resistance bands is exactly as described and therefore met my expectations regarding its strength, durability, and usefulness. It comes with a brief instruction sheet with some illustrated exercises & a nylon storage pouch. This anchor does indeed fit well over most doors. There are two square pads (marked X) about 3-1/2 inches apart near the middle of the anchor, indicating that the bottom of the door should be over this part of the strap. The strap is secured tightly with a very strong metal spring-clamp with stub-toothed roller that you thread the longest part of the strap through (on the side of the door opposite to the workout side). Then, after centering the anchor, all you have to do is pick which loop to thread your resistance band through to perform various strengthening exercises. While the workout side has metal rings, I think their purpose is to weigh down the strap; the cloth loops seem more appropriate for use with the resistance bands. I was pleased to find that the door anchor doesn't bulge out too much during exercise or hurt the door at all. Nor is it noisy (no clinking metal). It's very well designed and will probably last for many, many years or even for a lifetime (depending on level of use). ... show more

This door anchor resistance band strap is a great addition to a home gym. The construction of this device is solid and durable. The strength of the strap itself is of car seat bell quality, and the securing slide anchor for the strap is tight and made of metal. The length is generous and will fit nearly any standardized door. The strap comes with metal hooks and strap spots to utilize any type of resistance band. Multiple locations of these devices on the strap allow a full and customizable workout routine. Due to the durable quality of this item, there was never fear of slippage or breakage while performing workouts. There are several things to be aware of when utilizing this system. The first, is a recommendation of using a door that opens inward then outward. An inward opening door will allow the opposite force you place on the door to go against the frame. An inward opening door put stress on the door that can lead to pressure bending the door. This has the potential to lead to possible structural deficiencies in a standard interior door. A second thing to note would be the metal buckle on painted surfaces. Securing the strap as tight as possible will prevent friction from the buckle onto the painted surface. That aside, this system is handy and practical for any home gym. As long as precautions are taken regarding the door, frame, and possible damage to the painted surface, this is definitely a must have for any home gym enthusiast. ... show more

This door strap system attaches to the door very securely. The tightening mechanism really allows you to cinch it down such that the straps barely bow away from the door during use. I also like that the system has fabric loops that are friendly to resistance tubes and bands, but also has metallic loops for attaching things like carabiners. This combined with the fact that the loops are provided at so many height levels, allows me to target every muscle group that I need to. I was excited to find this door anchor strap for resistance bands. I've been needing something like this for a long time. It enables me to do upper body PT exercises with a flexible band, just like at PT. The strap arrives as a single piece and you have to thread the end into the cinch part after you lay it over the door. I needed help to get the thick end through that piece. Then you cinch it tight. I couldn't get it tight enough to keep it from pulling a few inches out from the door when I use it, but that doesn't impact it's performance at all. There is enough strap left over for me to wrap around the metal cinching part so the metal doesn't scrap the door finish. I am just able to secure the door shut with this on, so I keep it on all of the time. Works great! ... show more
