I have used my nylon Dooney & Bourke backpack for over a year now and I love it. Some mention that it only has the magnetic closure and that items fall out--not true! Nothing has ever fallen out of my backpack and I constantly toss it in the back seat of my car, literally. It has managed to keep its shape and the straps are fine. Get it! If you've been looking at it and trying to decide, just get it, you will love it!

OMG I didn't think I could love this bag as much as I do. I wanted a really really nice back pack. I wanted something that would absolutely make me scream. This is it. Go and buy this ASAP!!!!!. I loved that this bag is canvas rather than heavier leather, but the reality is that it doesn't close and items can fall out if it isn't sitting flat. Also, my particular bag has a rather weak magnet on its closure, so it's hit-and-miss on whether it connects or not. If you plan to use this bag as a backpack, don't think about using it in a crowded area where someone might be able to reach in and take your belongings. I'm going to try to rig a velcro or other closure myself, or have a bootmaker give it a shot. Otherwise, this won't be a bag I'll use much.
