I thought it would be too big but it's actually a decent size, it's medium-large: I can fit a slim journal, a mini cosmetic bag, a novel, hand sanitizer, another mini cosmetic bag to hold my chargers/pens, two tiny hand sanitizers, wet wipes, and a plastic water bottle. It was a gift for myself so that I may carry my 'essemtials' and I feel very happy about my purchase and the quality of the product. It stays on my shoulder, even with all I mentioned above it doesn't slip off my shoulder or feel uncomfortable (keep in mind, I am current able-bodied so this would differ for someone with a shoulder injury or previous history of spinal injuries). My grandma gifted me a smaller handbag from this designer and that bag has lasted her about 35 years and it still looks good today! This is why I decided to purchase this bag: it's not too flashy for no reason, it can be, but even with something as minimalist as this, you are getting a product to last you for decades, not just the season. timeless over trendy wins any day for me!

This was the “perfect” bucket bag. Not too big to look like an overnight bag, and not too small that it only carries your wallet and keys. The leather is 100 % authentic and the color is beautiful. The inside is vibrant red which is “signature” Dooney & Bourke. It’s a spectacular find on Amazon and I love it.
