It's a great starting digital piano for the price. The piano sounds leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. Definitely not the best samples, and the 2 electric piano sounds are god-awful. And while there are a ton of extra sounds, I don't see myself using any of them. I think it's a great start, the keys are weighted but I'm not sure about this being a "forever" instrument since there seem to be better options in the Donner line.

I bought this for my wife because she wanted to get back into playing, but wanted something portable. She loves it. We had someone over from church recently and they were surprised with the sound and feel of it and are going to get one to play at home.

Although this Dep20 Lite is no longer among top beginner pianos in under $300 price range, touch and sound seem okay for its price However I dropped my rating from 4 stars to 2 because I now realize that we received an older model in Sept 2024 with limited ports on the back. The one foot pedal connection is a non-standard mini 9 pin din female port. Without some electronic soldering, no adapter is available for the 6.35mm (1/4") plug on the Donner foot pedals purchased separately. Too late to return. (I will add a couple photos to help identify older vs newer models' by their back panels.) Other shortcomings: * The user guide as received is tiny print, poorly wriiten, minimal, without specs and the diagram of ports on back panel is misinformative. * The Donner Music app for android is weak. * The music rest for scores or tablet is flimsy. * The usb-a port for the thumbnail flash drive is unusable. In the piano we received, the USB-A socket is not in the center of the tight opening in the frame. Access for a standard USB-A plug is blocked by the piano frame. Perhaps one can play mp3 through the USB-B port or through BlueTooth?

very nice and great features in economic cost. Kids love it but stand is not helpful to keep it stay at on place. it keep sliding here and there while playing by kids.
