Pedals are buttons otherwise great for the price
Color: Polychromatic
Good set I think, first drum kit but some things I found, other reviewers mentioned poor response or interference, but I did find how to change settings in the manual for all sorts of things, and was able to make it much more responsive. The settings are probably low by default since it's geared toward younger players. All the pads are the same but different colors so tou can set them up as you like, I like the different colors since otherwise there's no way to tell what's what beside their position. Again I'm new to drumming. One thing that's not perfect it the floor pedal bass and floor pedal high hat are both just buttons, everything else has touch sensitivity, knowing this now I would have probably opted for something with actual pedals, but that updrade is as much as this whole kit (170 vs 400+), so it's fine for just learning I think, I got a regular floor pedal for an actual drum and am playing with how to set it up to strike the button lol. May get a real high hat too since turning that into a digital thing seems completely unpossible to me. My neighbors will love hearing just a random high hat 🤠 Anyway good kit very sturdy I would recommend to anyone like me who just wants to bang around and see if they like it, I think the resale value is there for when I upgrade eventually since there's not really anything to wear out. ... show more

Just add numbers.
Color: Polychromatic
Product works well. Connected it to my soundbar, kid is having a blast. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it would be a whole lot easier putting it together if you numbered the pieces. The pieces are numbered in the directions, but not in actuality.

Great. Inexpensive and a good set.
Color: Polychromatic
Very pleased with these they were so easy to put together and they even come with a little stool to sit on. It took maybe 20 minutes to put them all together. They are doable if you read the book and follow the directions you won’t have any problem very good for a beginning drummer very durable. They just easily their sound sounds great and they’re not real allowed that you’re going to get a splitting headache from someone playing them, which is wonderful. I can’t be more pleased. Remember the old days when drums took up. You know 10 feet of room there just to set them up all these actually take up about 2 feet of room with wise. I guess what would you call that not width depth, wise with wise going to say three maybe 4 feet at the most so they don’t take any room up hardly at all. I’ve got them sitting at a right angle next to my small keyboard Piano that I got from Donner as well I really like this company. I was very disappointed when I found out they were from China for some reason I was thinking they were located here in America or I would not have bought these at all but I will admit these are very nice and the price point is what I could afford for both and they both the Piano and the drum set are a great price point and they were made. They’ve got good sound both of them so Donna is a good company so despite them being from China, I will keep these and use these regularly I’m just one of those that I really like to support American made products but I will admit these. These are nice and they’re well-made. They’re not as nice as something you would get from America as far as how they’re made solid wood etc., but they are very well-made regardless these are made for someone that’s just starting out or like me I’ve been playing for oh gosh, since I was nine years old, I started teaching myself how to play the piano and then 15. My mom started being in lessons for about a year. Well not even a year. It took about six months before I was playing both hands together with no problem so I need to no more lessons for that and continued on and I still play I’m 63 years old so this is a nice piano for me. It has a great sound. I can turn it up. I can turn the sound down on the piano and the drums are not loud so these are great for someone who likes to sit down and just play during the day. I miss my other Piano. It was a real piano, not digital like this, but it works just as well it’s way to keys the drums. I didn’t think I would like the drums because they are flat digital drums, but they are just as good as regular drums as well so really anything you buy from this company I would probably trust. ... show more

Love this!
Color: Polychromatic
Review: Donner DED-70SE Electric Drum Set First Impression: Right out of the box, this kit feels like a fantastic space-saver. It’s incredibly compact, which is perfect if you’re trying to fit a drum set into a bedroom or a small studio without turning the whole room into a drum cave. The assembly is straightforward, and the whole frame has a solid, "ready-to-go" feel that doesn't overwhelm the space. Specifications: This is a 7-piece electronic set featuring four 6-inch drum pads, three 9-inch cymbals, and a sound module with 150 built-in voices and 15 customizable drum kits. It’s powered by a standard AC adapter or even a USB power bank for portable use. It also includes a throne, headphones, and drumsticks. Pros: The silent practice feature is the real MVP here. The mesh/silicone pad combination provides a decent rebound while keeping noise levels very low, so you can practice without driving the rest of the house—or the neighbors—crazy. I also love that it’s USB MIDI compatible, which makes it super easy to hook up to a computer for recording or using virtual instruments. Plus, the adjustable rack height is great because it can actually grow with the player. Cons: Because it’s designed to be compact, the drum pads are smaller than a traditional acoustic kit, so it might take a little bit of adjustment if you’re used to full-sized gear. The pedals can also feel a bit light, which is fine for beginners but might leave more experienced players wanting a bit more resistance. My Overall Thoughts: This is an excellent entry-level kit for anyone starting their drumming journey. It doesn’t try to be a professional-grade stage kit, but for learning rhythm, practicing daily without noise complaints, and exploring different sounds, it hits the mark perfectly. It’s approachable, fun, and the inclusion of Melodics lessons is a nice touch to help get the basics down. Suggestions for Improvement: I’d love to see a slightly weighted feel for the kick and hi-hat pedals to better mimic the response of an acoustic set. Also, adding integrated cable management clips to the rack would keep the setup looking a bit cleaner. Recommendation: If you’re looking for a beginner-friendly, quiet, and space-conscious drum set for yourself or a younger student, I’d absolutely recommend this. It packs a lot of utility into a small footprint. ... show more

Great for kids
Color: Polychromatic
As parents we often buy things we know the children don’t need because the noise and arguments will make us want to throw it away the first week. This has not been the case at all with this drum set. My children love it, and so do it. The instructions were very easy to read. Installation took around 30–45 minutes with my little helpers. There were a lot of pieces so be sure to have a clean area to work in. The volume of the drum set comes out through the included headphones, unless you connect it to a speaker. I opted out of that option lol. All you hear outside of the headphones is a light tap on the set. It is very entertaining. It’s not as large and bulky as a regular drum set. It seems to be made of very high quality materials. My children can be feel, and there are still no broken drum pieces. I will note that it did come with drumsticks. However, they lack the thickness to make them more durable. ... show more

A Drum Set Parents Can Actually Live With
Color: Polychromatic
This is a fantastic starter drum set for a kid who is genuinely interested in learning without bringing the volume of an acoustic kit into the house. The silicone pads have a nice rebound, and with the included headphones my son can practice without the rest of us having to listen to every single beat. I like that this is a real electronic kit with a snare, toms, three cymbals, kick and hi-hat pedals rather than essentially being a toy. The stand is adjustable for growing kids, and the whole setup is relatively compact and easy to store. There are plenty of different sounds and kits to experiment with, plus the included lessons give a beginner somewhere to start. For the price, this feels like an excellent introduction to drumming—and the headphones may be the best feature from a parent’s perspective. ... show more

Decent beginners electric drum set.
Color: Polychromatic
This is a decent beginners electric drum set. The materials feel reasonably solid and good quality. It does require some assembly. The assembly is not hard, though there are a fair number of pieces. There are also a lot of wires to run and tie up out of the way. The instructions are decent. The bolts use an external square head design, which is not something I see often. They provide a small T-shaped tool for working with them, but this does mean you need to keep track of this small tool if you want to make adjustments, and can't just grab something from your tool drawer. All of the fasteners use this, including the ones you will adjust for folding it up to store, so this is not just an assembly tool that won't matter later. The listing title says "USB MIDI" and "Type-C Charging Port". There is no battery inside, so it should say "power port", as there is nothing to charge. The USB port for the MIDI is USB-B, which is something I haven't seen used in a long time. It's not like this is an old model from before USB-C. They literally have a USB-C port on the device, but only for power. They also do not include a USB-A/C to USB-B cable. Considering how rare USB-B ports & cables are these days, and the price of this set, a cable should have been included. They do include a USB-C power supply, though the cord is fairly short, which again feels like lessening the product to save pennies. So, once you get it assembled and connected up, it is a decent beginners set. It is obviously not studio quality. The price is not cheap, but it is also not studio level expensive, and the sound reflects that. The sound quality is certainly decent, and sufficient for a beginner practicing, but set your expectations. There are a number of options for adjusting the sounds, and the controls for doing so are simple to work with. They include a decent set of headphones, so you can listen to yourself practicing once setup without needing anything else. Overall, this is a decent set. The price is reasonable. It feels like it will hold up to regular use. It is a great way to allow drum practice without disturbing everyone around. Learning a musical instrument can be expensive. This is a decent way to try out drums and see if it is what you want, and to practice, until you are ready to move up to something better. ... show more
