  • Beginner friendly & compact style good for travel
Strengths (Pros) 1. Very Beginner-Friendly • The sound library is very rich for a beginner kit (180 sounds + 15 kits), which means you can explore a lot of styles. • The 30 demo songs are helpful for practice, especially if you’re just starting out and want guided play-along tracks. • Mesh pads make it quieter than acoustic drums — good for practicing in apartments / homes. • The module’s training / recording features + USB-MIDI mean you can grow into making music, not just practicing. 2. Good Build & Portability • fairly compact, making it more manageable in small spaces. • lightweight so you can move / store more easily. 3. Value for the Price • Considering what’s included, you get a complete beginner kit without needing many add-ons, plus it’s easy to store & doesn’t take up any room at all. • Compared to very cheap “toy” electronic drum pads, this is a much more serious practice instrument. 4. Educational Potential • Recording + demo songs let you track progress. • USB-MIDI integration means you can layer your drum playing into digital production or use drum-learning software. ⸻ Weaknesses (Cons / Trade-Offs) 1. Pad & Pedal Sensitivity • Some users note that pedals (especially hi-hat) can feel “binary” — not super nuanced. • For very expressive drumming (dynamics, ghost notes), it may feel limited compared to high-end e-kits. 2. Sound Quality Limits • While 180 sounds is a lot, the quality of some voices may not match premium kits. • The demo / built-in tracks are good for practice, but might feel simplistic or limited once you’re more advanced. 3. Durability / Longevity • Pedals could wear faster with heavy use or advanced playing. • Mesh heads are good, but might not be “pro-grade” mesh; long-term very aggressive playing could stress components. 4. Limited Expansion • If you want to expand to more toms, cymbals, or more advanced rack configurations, this beginner setup may become limiting. • The module may have limitations on polyphony or number of simultaneous sounds. 5. Learning Curve for Module • While there are demo songs and learning tools, navigating all 180 sounds + kits + settings might be overwhelming for some beginners. 6. Power / Connectivity Considerations • Depending on model, you’ll need to manage power (adapter). My Verdict / Recommendation • Good for you if you’re a beginner (or getting something for a beginner), especially if you need a quiet, space-friendly kit. • Great as a practice / learning tool — not just for banging out rhythms, but also for building coordination and working with DAWs or music software. • Less ideal if you want to gig seriously soon, or if you’re planning to do very expressive, high-dynamic drumming — you might outgrow it. • If you go for it, consider: • Possibly replacing pedals later if you find them lacking • Using the USB-MIDI connection to connect to a computer / DAW — that really unlocks creative potential. ... show more

  • Great for beginners and has good sound.
The media could not be loaded. My son LOVES this set. He was wanting drums but this is working out nicely for all of us. He geta to jam out and all I hear is some mellow tapping instead of a full drum kit. There is no built in speaker, so ypu need to play with headphones or plug it into a speaker or sound board. Great for beginners. I love the recording feature and that there are a ton of different sound features, so he can mix it up and have fun with different noises. The storage bag makes it very convenient to lug around or for storage. The materials are pretty tough and seem like they will last. All in all, i would recommend this for purchase. ... show more
