  • Good drum kit! Lots of features and sounds. Record/Play is fun! Foot pedals are cool.
Color: Drum pattern
Neat drum set! Is good for building targeting and rhythm skills, with the included (small) drum sticks or with our own, and has settings to simulate eight different sets of drum kit sounds. We like the background Demo feature, which offers ten different drumming rhythms to play alongside, the Rhythm feature, which has six instrument rhythms to play alongside (five piano options, one snazzy electric guitar riff). The speed of any of those can be sped up or slowed down, to fit our mood, current song production, or to get used to the specific cadence. Oh, and there’s a “Mixer” feature that adds up to two levels of reverb, so that’s pretty neat. Having foot pedals is cool! Especially the one that simulates closing the hi-hat. That’s a good effect, in conjunction with the hi-hat playing pad. The other pedal is a bonus bass drum trigger, which can be used along with the playing pad that’s labeled “bass drum”, for ease of access or for the benefit of speed freaks. :^) The volume control is a slight annoyance. It starts off louder than we’d prefer (every time it’s switched on — it doesn’t remember or recall the prior sound volume setting, so we have to turn it down each time we play with this kit). Also, the sound of the background features (the Demos and Rhythms) are really quiet in the background, by comparison with how loudly the drums play. By our preference, there really should be a volume control solely for those, to blend the sounds together better when those features are used. Mentioned earlier that it’s good for building rhythm and pad targeting skills. Noted it that way, as it’s surprising that the pads aren’t dynamically touch-sensitive (strike one softly, and it plays loudly; strike one hard, and it plays exactly as loudly (the same volume regardless of how hard or softly each pad is struck with drumstick during play)). Charging is easy, as it uses a standard USB-C charger. Plug in, ignore it for a while until its little read “Charging” light turns off; all set. (BTW, a USB-C charging cable is included. Charger brick is user-provided (not included with the kit) . . which is fine, as those are now ‘everywhere’ and pretty common.) Oh! And there’s a Record and Playback loop feature that we really like! Press Record, tap out a groove or a fill, and then press the Play button to hear it played back (over and over, in a loop, until ready to stop). This adds an infinite number of options to the “Demo”-like feature mentioned {above}, as we can play whatever rhythms we’d like and then play along with them (or export them to other sound equipment using the Line Out audio port. Cool….. Interestingly, the recorded groove/fill can be played back using any of the eight built-in drum kit sound sets, simply by pressing the Style button to select each different one, even in the middle of being played back. We also like that, in addition to the Line In audio port, songs and sounds can be piped into this drum set over Bluetooth. (Incidentally, the volume control for the Bluetooth-induced audio is controlled by the phone or echo or whatever bluetooth source is being used.) Also incidentally: The built-in speakers are of surprisingly good quality! They sound nice. (Tested them by playing Metallica’s ‘No Leaf Clover’, which is our go-to testing song, as that song has a full range of classical, symphony, rock, and percussion sounds . . which also blended well with the drum sounds from this kit. The speakers did very well!) .:.Great sounds, supports Bluetooth, Line In, Line Out, Demo playback and recording, Rhythm backgrounds, adjustable reverb, time signature adjustment, multiple drum kit styles, … Lots of features! Yes. We like it. ... show more

  • Good first introduction
Color: Stripe pattern
The sound is just a tad bit delayed but other than that my kids like it! I think it'll be a good introduction to drumming.

  • Great Little Drum Kit for Kids, Learning, and Quiet Practice
Color: Drum pattern
I picked this up as a compact way to let kids learn rhythms and beats without turning the house (or the neighbors' walls) into a war zone. For that purpose, it’s excellent. The roll-up silicone design is lightweight, durable, and easy to stash in a drawer or backpack—perfect for small spaces or taking along on trips. The kit comes with everything you need: two foot pedals, drumsticks, a power adapter, and the cables. No extra parts to buy, no complicated setup. Plug it in and your young drummer is tapping away in minutes. Sound options are fun and varied, and while the built-in speaker is meant for casual use, the headphone jack is the real hero—it keeps practice sessions quiet enough that nobody gets disturbed. It’s a great way for kids to build coordination and timing at home without waking the neighbors. The MIDI/USB connection is a nice bonus for anyone who wants to plug into apps or simple music software. It’s not something you’d ever perform with, but it’s a useful tool for learning the basics or practicing along with tracks. The silicone pads themselves are quiet, responsive, and tough enough for enthusiastic beginners. They hold up well and keep noise to a minimum, a huge plus for parents. This isn’t a replacement for a real drum set, and it’s not meant to be. But as a kid-friendly, space-friendly way to learn, experiment, and practice the fundamentals, it does the job surprisingly well. Perfect for young musicians just starting out. ... show more

  • Fun Instrument!
Color: Drum pattern
The media could not be loaded. This Electronic Drum Pad actually works very well. I took a quick video just so customers could see/hear some different settings. The volume can get very loud, you can plug headphones in, or easily connect to alternative speakers through Bluetooth. Easy to use for beginners. My 4 Year Old has been having a blast with it. Comes with a charging wire, the drum set, 2 foot puddles, & 2 nice quality drum sticks. I haven't noticed a delay between tapping a pad/foot peddle, & the sound coming out. It's also been pretty accurate with each pad being tapped, making a sound so you don't have to hit one specific spot on each individual pad. The only thing I have noticed is to be gentle when pressing the actual buttons on the machine. If you push too hard, the button will shift a bit into the machine- (you only need to press gently for it to work, but again, I have a 4 Year Old that doesn't always understand being gentle, lol.) So just something to be aware of. I think it's a good drum set. Great that headphones can be used not to disturb others. Definitely a nice gift to give or get. The price point is good in my opinion! ... show more

  • Quality, Versatile & Endless Fun for Everyone
Color: Drum pattern
Arrived on time and well packaged. Ordered the “2025 Upgrade Electronic Drum Set 9-Pad Roll-Up – Portable Silicone Drum Kit with 2 Pedals, Built-in Speakers, MIDI & Headphone Jack, in the Drum pattern”. First, I was wondering if this nine-piece drum set really works and sounds like actual drums. However, I should not have been hesitant because this is an amazing and creative way to play drums. My granddaughter, who is almost 12 years old, loves this set immensely. On the other hand, I am thrilled that she finds this much enjoyment, but I also appreciate being able to work from home without being interrupted by loud noise. The lack of space required, combined with the drum set's ease of packing, moving, or taking on our beach trip, makes this a win-win situation. I believe this set is excellent for both beginners and advanced players. The price of $49.99 may seem a bit high, but because of the quality and versatility, I don’t mind the cost. I definitely recommend this drum set as a gift to a loved one (not just for Christmas) or as a personal purchase. After all, this set has no age limit. It’s suitable for anyone over the age of 10, with no upper age limit. I have not found any negative feedback. ... show more
